c-tec conditoner/ chargers are what we put on a lot of the yank cars we do as they monitor the bat switch on and off when needed automatically so not over charging bat . Just check out what amphere your bat is and get the correct variant for that bat. they will also charge from flat.

Got to have 75% vlt (visable light transmisson) through the front windows as most cars these days come with tinted glass as standard then any tint you put on the front drive and pas dop glass will be illegal unless its clear security film .!!! as for the rears any shade you like is allowed you can even get the black paint out lol . .

exactly why would you use high temp paint ???? any 2k car paint will be fine we have a 600bhp corvette with a big brake conversion,with calipers painted in mirror chrome 2k paint been done for 2 years with no prob!!! is every one forgetting that brake calipers are all rubber sealed if they got that hot the seals would fail !!!! Sorry for that rant but just thought it time to clear up a few myths!!!!!!!

Soz no can do with sigma ripped out a sigma system from my lotus kept going off and blowing door lock moduals!! only really get envolve with the maxIII alarm or toad 606 difficult to get hold of fitting instructions for other cat1 systems unless your an aurthorised fitter and as this is such a small part of my business now and really a shrinking market then its not worth my while now getting envolved in other alarm systems.I am more then happy to look at wiring issues though .

think you will need the valet code to programme any clifford you may be able to get it off the main brain its normally a 4 digit number within the serial no

Yes as you may or may not know I (Brett) spent 5yrs fitting alarms trackers and audio/av systems for audiofile incar in Bishops Stortford can have a look at things for people but dont tend to keep items here ie door servos etc so would have to order in .

Those scratch repair kits use a powder to which u add water then use a mop on a drill to polish glass in my opinion they are crap really wont touch the scratch unless its super fine ie cant feel it with your nail and even if you went at it hammer and tong for hrs all it will do is distort the screen not so bad when looking in but a total S**T when looking out did a Mustang front screen here after it developed a scratch ended up binning out the screen ! Personally live with the scratch till it gets a stone hit it on its next drive !

Not going to be a connector / corrosion issue to be honest as it is a brand new engine loom I am not an engine builder and with so many things being done on this car in one go ie engine blueprinted lightened rebuilt, diff injectors ,wiring looms cut and moved in 3 diff places all the throtle bodies dismantled and painted its now proving hard to pin point if its just one prob or a couple got a conzult sitting here plugged to it (thanks vijay) but I dont know enough about this or the engine to set it up .And Ant has just about run out of freebies from us after the free full repaint because of some dodgy fibre glass changed shape in the sun!!!!

Yeah thanks for the loan of it mate I think we have got to the bottom of it now it appears that somehow in the re wire the aux water temp pillar gauge has caused the prob being wired into the ecu temp sender wire it was like this prior to all the work so not sure why its caused a prob now but all is working fine with it disconnected . Onwards and upwards now Ant get steering and supension set up then run in then loads of wonga for someone to tune it all up !!!! good luck mate ...... was beginging to think it was never leaving the workshop !! evn thought Vijay would have his done 1st lol !!!

I think its the same on all cars Ants 300 here does this because we have done away with the front fogs the switch now controls the rears but when turned on with the main lights off it turns on the sides light front and rear have checked wiring and nothing seems to wrong so put it down to just a light left on warning system.

Owning a garage myself I would have to say the garge is liable the car should have been kept inside unless he told owner that this was not going to be possible and would be left outside at the car owners risk given him the option not to leave the car ,sounds to me like the business owner does not have any cover apart from possibly road risk a lesson all owners should learn I am affraid, a reason some garages can be cheapper is they cut there overheads and insurance is a massive one ! the only people that suffer then tend to be the customer !!!!

sure we have ant_300zx old screen here its got some da makes in it from an earlier bodyshops repair but sure he wouldnt mind givin it away to get it out my workshop try pm ing him

His brakes now wor, turned out to be the 3 filters under the abs solenoid had failed and had been sucked into solenoids blocking them so the old girl of his should be on the round soon (so should his car lol)
