  1. Thank you my friend, and they look quite good, imho. Al.
  2. OOHHH!!! LOL!! Al.
  3. I shot blasted my front wipers back to steel, and finished in a protective treatment. The end result is a brushed steel look. Not seen a 300 with the same wipers yet!! Al.
  4. As Si has said.... if you matched the centre panel in black, it would look very cool, and match the rear lights. Al.
  5. Perfection!!! What we all seek. al.
  6. Mine is the same, give the ol' girl a nice clean, go for a drive and the rear bumper is covered in little black spots!!! My 300 runs fine, no issues with boost, maybe a little overfuelling, and am sure the o2 sensors are fine. Al.
  7. You seem like a very honest chap, matey. Unlike some on here.. Al.
  8. My thread does not relate to you "terry", only to my experience in the past with "so-called" 300zx mechanics that has carried out work on my zed. No offence mean't or intended matey. Just good, sound advise for peeps on here. Al.

  11. Sandwich plates are ok if good quality. Cheap plates will leak. Get a well known make matey. Al.
  12. If i was gonna have my gearbox rebuilt, i would go to someone/a garage, who has many years experience in this field, with many happy customers, who can confirm the quality of work carried out. There are many mechanics out there who think they know what they are doing, but, clearly they do not. I have had some bad experiences!! I would only take my 300 for a gearbox rebuild/refurb,(and any other work to that matter) to someone who has been recommened, and, after contacting the people who have had work carried out by them, in the past, and recently, and they confirm first hand quality, i would take my beloved 300 to them. This is only my opinion, as i have been, lets say, f***ed in the past by these so called mechanics, and i think, many members on here will agree. (Sorry for the beef, but i have some from the past!!) Al.

  21. OK, i have some det issues above 15psi, and have been advised by JD to have a Fuel Pressure Regulator fitted to see how the fueling is going. My delimma is what one to buy??? Seen some on flea-bay, but not sure what is good and what is a waste of my hard earned cash. If you have one, what have you got? Don't want to go mad, but want good quality that will last, and does it need a gauge? Many thanks people, Al.
