Great News, We had a long chat with John Fuggles (Principle JAE Organizer) on our stand last weekend. and he informed us that 2009 will see a new event...JAE NORTH. This will be a new and separate event at a location TBC in the north west. and it is in NO way an alternative event to the main JAE, just another event by the same organizers to accommodate the Northern car clubs. Our club will have a stand at Both events next year, and when I have more info, such as Location/date etc, I will post up so watch this space. :) Regards Kim

Thanks for the Superb write up Steve, having read your down points about the weekend, all of them and more have been aired on the JAE Forum to John Fuggles, especially the one about stand space and camping area's. This year was the 1st year at Mersea Island, and was a tester for everyone, mainly the JAE Organization. john has taken ALL the points on board, and next year will see some welcome improvements, mainly with the layout of the Club Stands. ;)

Just got Home, Would have been home hours ago if I hadn't have gone the wrong way up the A120 and ended up in Harwich :rolleyes::smash:. Anyway, A big thanks for all those who turned up and made it a memorable weekend, I had a great time, and it was nice to meet some new people, and see some Zed's I haven't seen before. I thought the Location was superb, and worth every mile of the long drive. I will put my photo's up in a while when I have uploaded them. Thanks to Viniboy & Steve_300zx, for ALL their help, and for giving me a break on the BBQ, I never wanna see another Burger or Sausage again LOL. :hurl: Already Plotting my idea's for next year.
