Just wanted to say a big thanks to steviecopland for helping me out. :dance: When my car started misfiring a while ago i started a thread to ask for help and i got a lot of responses telling me it could of been the PTU, unfortuneately i could not find a way of testing it without shelling out for a brand new unit. Anyway steviecopland read the thread and offered to send me his PTU while his car was off the road. A few days later i recieved it and was able to illiminate the PTU as a suspect, which meant i saved quite alot of money. :) Anyway i just wanted to post this thread to thank him and to say i think its fantastic being part of a club that is this great and very helpful. :D Also thanks for everyones suggestions in my thread about my car. :)

I had a zed and the key would'nt come out, i pulled of the small peice of plastic that surrounds the button and used a little slotted screwdriver to push a black peice of plastic either up or down and it then released the button to move freely again and the key came out. I then stuck something in there to stop it from happening again and hey presto - problem solved, maybe not the perfect way to fix it, but it worked and i never has any problems again. HTH.

Once you get going - its a piece of piss. ;) The only one thats really important is the screw that is hidden 'underneath' the window - you need to let the window down a little bit and pull the cover off and it will expose the screw. The rest really is very easy, i did it with no help at all and did'nt break a single clip or bracket, just go slow and think logically. :D

Thanks for the advice guys. I'v left it with Andy Duff to sort as i believe it is a gasket leaking oil into a spark plug reserviour. And if its not - he'll sort it. :) He's sorting a couple of other things at the same time anyway. :D Will let you all know when the zeds perfect again. :) If thats possible. LOL

2.30pm Today (Sun 18th Nov), red with aftermarket alloys and lambo rear lights, at the road works on the A570 near kew roundabout. Only saw you at the last minute so did not have time to flash and i was not in my zed. I believe both me and my dad have seen you in the past and you flashed but i was not a member then. Was It You???

Only problem with that is, if more and more people convert the government will suddenly stick a load of tax on. Remember Diesel USED to be cheaper than petrol. ;)
