  1. I personally would rule out 99-spec lights and spend the £1000!!! on other things. Intead paint the inserts chrome and buy some HID's. ;) :D:D:D
  2. Nice one, sounds good. :duffer:
  3. I think there is a small 'button' on the side of the connector push that while pulling on the connector, very simple, don't be afraid of pulling the connector off. HTH.
  4. LOL, sounds like they mixed a ford with a mitsubishi
  5. That's not a bike, its a big engine that you sit on.
  6. FOOKIN HELL!!!! That is bad news! There is gonna be all kinds of crap threads started today then.:rofl::rofl:
  7. LOL my dad always says the same things :( Anyway the PTU is bolted onto the left hand side cam cover, its a grey 'corrugated' metal box about 3"x3", with a plug at either end of it. From past experience there is no way of testing a PTU unless you have another one so you can swap them over, or at least that was the case when i needed to test mine. A kind club member sent me one to try, and i would happily do the same for you but my car is away being fixed. Sorry i can't be of more help. HTH.
  8. That's it, blow your own trumpet, no-one will do it for ya.
  9. Serves you right for turning it on.:rofl::rofl:
  10. The set i have now were bad and i paid to have them done, he came to me and did them and did a CRAP job (not saying they are all like that) but the best thing about it was i learnt how to do it ;) So i know want to refurb these ones but don't know if i can polish the lips, if i can't i'll do em silver but i think they'll look really good polished. :)
  11. Bump, now that everyone is home from work. :D
  12. And your hat please.
  13. I won't be able to reach in with a bench polisher, will i???
  14. Bought 3 odd alloys in pretty bad shape now managed to get a forth brand new one, so its time to refurb. I need advise on polishing the lip/dish, i am planning on painting the spokes gold and i think they will look good with a polished lip, so my question is how do i get pic 2 to look like pic 3 (pic 1 is to show how they were). I have a dremel (well a copy) but have no idea how to use it and what heads i need etc.... If i can't do it i'll resort to plan B and that is to paint the dishes a brilliant silver. Any suggestions most welcome. ;) PIC 1 - How the alloys were. PIC 2 - Rubbed down. PIC 3 - New alloy i have bought.
  15. Whilst we're on petrol i think Tesco do a 99ron petrol.
  16. AGREED! Needs a complete re-design. :) TBH my first impression is that it is uglier than the z33.
  17. It certainly did'nt take four men to do mine  i did it on my lonesome. :D
  18. Are you talking to me? :wack: If so mines jap.
  19. Use normal all the time :) Never had a problem relating to that. ;)
  20. Ages since i did it, but i think there are a couple of bolts and and then you just have to be brutal and cut underneath the outside edge of it as it is stuck down.
  21. Also flip through a haynes manual in a halfrauds. :D
  22. :D:D:D Fantastic to hear such great club spirit :D:D:D
  23. It does'nt take long to wire it in to a reverse light and stick a red bulb in, just do that. Once done its done forever. :)
