  1. Is it best adjusted when temp is up to 80°C? Also it worth taking the screw out and cleaning it all out first? And lastly what causes the constant changes in the revs, as it make it harder to set when it's not constant. thanks :D
  2. Temp sender unit and connection cleaned so I guess it's off to get another can of petrol, change the O2 sensors which are on route then sit in her and hold 2000rpm once the temp is up a bit to see if it helps get her temp up to normal. Then start checking things again!
  3. Not yet but will be as I have used them in the past. So if I pm you my number can they call to quote?
  4. There are some that feed/return from the throttle body I think.
  5. Wil do, the engine had been running 30 mins!
  6. Started ringing round for insurance quotes so tried my usual company £541.00 fully comp for me and the wife :D Think I can live with that for the TT.
  7. I am in the process of trying to get one of these so would be happy to organise a GB on it and any of the other AshSpec products (alloy rad/intakes). Anyone interested let me know.
  8. No offence taken. TBH it was put on the car to see how the motor that had just been dropped in was running, I haven't had the time to read the whole manual for conzult yet and knowing the are some conzult experts on here thought it would be a smarter option to get some ideas from them 1st as they have the experience. I would rather get some info from someone who knows rather than all of it from someone who is learning (i.e. me)
  9. Spent the last few hours on the Z with TubZ and the conzult. I have attached the results so was hoping if someone could answer a few questions? The idle isn't stable, it goes up and down between about 700-800 constantly - is that a vacuum leak? The left hand O2 sensor show as no reading on idle but blip the throttle quickly and it shows a reading then drops to nothing, if you increase the revs steadily it starts to read then drops to nothing? Any ideas? The power balance test is different every time even when run straight after each other? Any ideas? If any Conzult expert has any other comments based on the readings please let me know, btw the car is a standard JDM Auto TT with only an EGR bypass and needs a MOT so I can drive but want to make all is ok 1st.
  10. Legrath - 2 admission , 2 track time Anthonyd - 2 admission madmarco - 2 admission, 2 track time
  11. I assume you mean the height changing at various speeds? I am going to speak to the guy with the GTO to find out what sensors it runs off. I'm also going to fit the perspex strip to cover the holes of the original spoiler.
  12. The progress so far!
  13. Just fitting a 3000GTO on mine, pics to follow!
  14. Perhaps we should make this a get together, it's not to far. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=106559

  16. I'm interested, not sure about track yet but would be there for the day.
  17. Just got the new SFS boost hose kit to go with my coolant ones. Off to fit them very soon, will post some pics.
  18. You right there, what a shitter! Wife was told she has high blood pressure Washing machined died- need a new one Mortgage company just withdrawn the loan we were using for a deposit. No, he's still messing around with the power steering pump! To much partying eh Tubz  :duffer:
  20. I know it's not quite the same but I did a conversion on a 2.0 16v Peugeot mi engine in a 205 with a rotrex charger. With a bit of work and standard internals got it from 160bhp to 235bhp. Supercharging is far easier than turbo charging a NA engine.
  21. Looks naff tho :hurl: I guess if you prefer function over form? ALTHOUGH SILICONE v HARD PIPE, not much in it!
  22. I'll be fitting SFS silicone ones soon, much easier!
  23. These are Chinese manufactured which is why they were so cheap. They look ok now but give it time, apart from the labour costs they are cheap because the chinese use ALOT of fillers in the silicone so you don't actually get hoses that 100% silicone so they lose alot of the properties/advantages of a Uk silicone hose. One Uk importer of chinese hose has withdrawn their coolant kits as they all leak. At the end of the day you get what you pay for!! SFS or Samco is the way.
