  3. Hi all , new to here as ive just gone and treated myself to a 300zx (jap import) after moving up in the world from my old beloved 200sx (s13) after it finally blew up :(. When i bought it i found that the front brakes were really making a high pitch noise when braking normally to stop around town which was turning peoples heads for the wrong reason :(. I was told it had hardened pads on it by the bloke i bought it from, so a friend of mine advised me to go back to standard pads cos they are softer and will stop noise. I had the softer pads put on last monday and at first they were fine- no more squealing, but since then they have got progessively worse and are back to that bloody high pitch noise again  There are drilled disks at front, and im now starting to wonder if this has anything to do with it. If any of you have any advice i would deeply appreciate it :))
