Dark grey zed with targas off! today about 1.45 pm on the A31 coming into Ringwood. I was on a bus that good old BR laid on cos of engineering work bettween Southampton & Poole! Great! Got exactly the same problem but as turbo timer runs down i can actually see a misty oily cloud coming from the rear of the engine. Why do all my posts have a black spot next to them? aaaaaah!!!! The Black Spot!

Not sure myself! (girlfriends that is!) but they (& kids) moan about travelling any distance (ie more than 1km) in the back of the Zed! Cant undrestand why! Still made some initial enquires & yes looks like a stong possibility that I ll be there. Do we need to book tickets or anything like that? PS Im a Zed meet virgin so please be gentle!!!!!!!!!

DVLA absolute *********************ers! Bought my TT import from dealer in London at time Wimbledon dvla office was under investigation for stolen jap cars. Just had a coolant hose replaced & have ended up with large bill from local garage as they claim it was (almost) impossible to get to! It was rumoured that the gearbox would have to come out to get to it! But apparently they persevered and managed to do it in 4.5 hours! Is there such a difficult hose or was i ripped off? Dont know which hose but it was short & about 0.75 ins dia.

I think you will find the seller to be part of this forum & there is a post from him about selling it! (fairly recentlly)

ok! I ll try it! though bit concerned about fluid loss. Cant identify it. not oil not gearbox oil. no warnings. sort of coolanty looking but water level seems ok. any ideas?

Thanks guys! questions answered: Badger was dead! couldnt avoid it. all other cars cleared it easily but of course with the clearance of a very thin thats thin i hit it! z dumped fluid over drive but as yet havnt discoverd what. Boost gauge works ok. Cruise dosnt! but been delimited. does that matter? and yes cable/pipe seems to go towards throttle thingy. so guessing cruise contol??????

NO! my batterys top right. this is other side near row of labelled relays/fuses. its an 89 tt import if that helps!

Just ran over a badger & was inspecting for damage under the bonnet & noticed a disconnected conector (not badger related). it is top left corner & goes into a square thing with a tube coming out that in turn goes to a round thing. (clear!!!!) What is it? AND should i plug it in?
