    Yea i changed the gear box oil put some really nice Castrol synthetic in there and really helped but still does it when really on tap. Maybe a gearbox rebuild is on the cards :(

    Hey guys. I have a '91 300zx tt 2+2 and when really on it i get a crunch in 4th and 5th but none of the other gears which is annoying coz im scared to go into 4th and 5th when nailing it as you really have to wrench it in to get it to go into gear. It will slide in if you keep the clutch down and let the revs die off but then thats loosing alot of speed and the car youve just destroyed now catches up which is pretty lame. Any Help would be great. Joel
