  1. Cheers guys. Roughly how much would it cost for all these things to be done? And how much will a new exhaust system set him back?
  2. My old mans got a Uk Zed in the Garage and its been there for the last 3 years. He brings it out now and then to run it but not very often, and in anycase only for 15mins or so. He wants to put it back on the road (or is hoping to). I was just wondering what sort of things are likely to need replacing on it? The exhaust is rusting and flaking underneath the back boxes so that need to go. Just want a rough idea of what may need replacing and how much. Cheers
  3. I can see your in Shropshire but got no idea where newport is. is that north or south? dont want to travel too far if you know what i mean, shropshires a big place!
  4. they are 2x 225 and 2x 245. They are stock UK Rims and are in good condition. i'd really like those rims if youve still got them. My old mans zed is in desperate need of a decent set of uk rims. I could pick them up next week after Monday if you still got them!!
  5. forgive my ignorance but what is a 600zx? Is that a made up name? or is it some sort of import?! One int car though!
  6. Whats the condition on the rims? Are they"blistering" at all? Are they off a uk car? I may be interested although shropshire may be a problem.
  7. i was in the motorshow a few years ago looking at a £101,000 Ferrari F360 Modena on the Ferrari stand and a couple were stood next to me and my mate. The woman turns to the bloke and says "Thats a nice Toyota". I didn't know whether to hit her or laugh at her!
  8. wouldnt have thought thats the prob, but hey, you never know! The detector is best in the centre of the car, so either put it in the middle of your screen at the bottom (wont have any wires flapping about) or under the rear view (provided u have enough wire to run it around the edge of the windscreen). The first option is best, but just looks a little naff sometimes!
  9. Theres white blocks on the roads everywhere down here. The helicopters can only use VASCAR as far as i know (measure you distance between the white blocks to work out the speed) but this doesnt use radar or laser, just a video camera and built in "stop-watch". The margin of error is obviously quite high so they probably wont do you unless you're considerably speeding. As for the detector thing, it may be that the dectector you have and where you've possitioned it means the radar waves are being deflected to it more from the zed than your other car, probably because of its shape.
  10. you may need to speak to the cops first though since nuisance calls is a criminal offence, only then will bt trace the calls and disclose where they are coming from.
  11. Now thats what i like to see! I hate those Truvelo cameras!
  12. have you got an address/phone number/web addy for them please?
  13. Are there any garages / idividuals in South Wales who deal with 300zx's? My father has a TT UK car (non-import) and wants some advice on the gear-box/clutch. He says that when in reverse there isnt alot of power and feels as if the clutch is slipping, but hes not sure. Any phone numbers of relevant businesses etc would be much appreciated. Cheers
