Depends i generally run mine on optimax but when have just been pottering around town have used normal unleaded without any problems The Zcenter do these heres a link http://www.zcentre.co.uk/others/others.shtml You may or may not get the targa bags (i did) the panels just sit in these bags then in the boot ontop of each other but in oposite directions and you may or may not also get the straps that you then tighten down on them to hold them in place Been loads of discussion on this lately do a search but it seems most peoples opinions is any top name will do about 15/50 or there abouts I use 33 front 36 rear (im on stock rims) Cant help ya on that one bud but im sure someone will!! Advice on run-in
Hi mate i had a similar senario in a lotus esprit turbo when i rebuilt that i too was worried so asked around many places including lotus technical and the general concencious (god knows how you spell that and it is 4am in the morning i hate night shift!!!) was to not go abouve 3000rpm for first thousand and then rase 500 revs for every 500 miles you do or for every 1k you do to be really safe. The softer you are with it the better. I ran bellow 3000 for the first 1000 miles then 500 rev increases every thousand for the next 2000 miles. Then the thermostat went and it over heated and popped the head gasket so out it came again for another strip down as head needed sorting skimming etc so had the chance to see the bores and even after that gentle run in as described you could still see the honeing marks on the cylinders. Anyway i hope all that helps in some way certainly helped me waste a few mins before i piss off home :D

floppy rear wing!!
Having had one side of the high level rear wing rebonded when i got the car the other side has now doe the same :( so a couple of questions 1. just rebond the side that has come loose or completely remove and rebond both sides? 2. What adhesive should be used and where to get it? remember someone mentioning something but cant find it for the life of me TA Glyn

I Want To But One - A Zx That Is
yeah the deal i struck with them was if i paid asking price they would do what i asked which was cambelt service repaint front valence had all flaked and was showing yellow touch up any stone chips that were on the body re bond rear spoiler as one side had come lose where it had been used to open the boot remove the jap sat nav which is useless over here convert to uk tax mot and cut a new key the only thing they didnt do was the new key was verry happy with their service and attitude seemed to know their stuff as well as told me that the boost gaugue was an option on the latter models which when checked on here (possibly one of my first posts!!!!) was confirmed well worth a look

I Want To But One - A Zx That Is
Hi Jay i am one of the few on the forum that do own a zed that young mines 1995 tt import as has already been said you will find it verrrrrrrrrrrrry hard to find a uk car that young trust me i tried!!!!! So that basicaly leaves you with two options have one imported to your spec or look around the importers for one that has already been imported both have good and bad points. With importing your own this obviously has the advantage that you can pretty much specify exactly what you want eg body kits mods etc and then they will go and find it for ya as for one thats already been imprted with this you can actually go and get hands on with the car flick every switch etc before you shell out 6k+ the second is the route i went and i like to think i found a good clean car a few people on here have seen it so can ask them (burf2000 blackzx/sussex and dave seargent to name a few) The company i got mine from was AutoBMC who are in rickmansworth they quite often have late model zeds for sale (although not at the moment I checked for ya) but they were verry good deal with in my experience heres a link http://www.autobmc.co.uk all the best in finding ya zed hope ya get a good one

Indiglo Gauges - an alternative
I would be happy with just two z's one on each dial but saying that if they dont take their branding off i would still have a set :D ;)
-
Indiglo Gauges - an alternative
What do you mean by 300zx logo the same as on the blanking plate for the boost personally wouldnt want the same thing on the dial twice? also if the "|)ials" logo is their branding will they be willing to take it off????? Glyn

Indiglo Gauges - an alternative
Hmmmmm this dial thing gets more interesting Auto Illusions your dials look great however i have a late model zed (1995) where the boost gauge at the bottom of the speedo was infact an option which isnt on mine and i know in the other threads it has been expressed that a number of people would like the dials without the cut out for this gaugue is this a posability??

Strut Bars
FT you want to get in touch with Dave Seargent he has just fitted some (stillen i think but could be wrong) was speaking to hime before we went to bolney and he was saying that he thought that they made quite a difference and yes he did have to cut the trim in the back but was just a small square to cut out of the plastic trim under the speaker mounts said it was easy to do but ask him sure he will tell you all Glyn
