Your right guys. The TT pump is only bigger because it needed an extra chamber for the rear hicas rack. Since the later series uses electric motors, theres no need for the second chamber.

On the upside, lucky you werent underneath it. Is that it working again then?

And we have a winner. Jacked the car up this morning, wheel off, started to take the driftworks tension rod off and hey presto, the mounting point was loose. A quick tighten up, wheel back on and went for a test drive. Noise isnt there anymore. Woohoo. Got the retest in 4 hours.

Been round and spoke to the tester. He's said that the tension rod is sitting twisted on its bearing. Gonna try replacing it with a standard one and seeing if the noise goes away. He said that he tried looking for where it was coming ffom while it was on the brake tester but because the car is so low, He couldnt see.

His actual wording is "nearside front brake juddering severely [3.7.A.2b]" Im completely baffled by it as it brakes fine, under normal load. Brake heavily and I can hear the noise he's talking about. All suspension bushes were replaced with energy bushes, and a driftworks arm kit fitted less than 1000miles ago. MeisterR type R coilovers were fitted about the same time. If I cant find the cause, I might just book it into the garage for its retest and tell him to fix it!

Put my zed in for its mot on thursday....not a happy result. Failed on front pads...sorted already (fitted new ones) Drivers half-shaft was loose.....sorted Popping noise coming from the front passenger wheel under heavy breaking. This is the one thats baffling me. The tester said to check the security of all the suspension arms. I did this and didnt find any problems. Just spent the past 6 hours raking my brains but have no idea where to go next! Any suggestions?

Im on 12 hour night shifts just now but im due another night off on the 14th of june. Its a thursday night. How does that suit everyone? If its too far away, we could always arrange two :D
