Sill/Arch repair
So now I know why there was such a thick layer of filler covering the panel.. Shes had a whole new nsr wing replaced or repaired and it sits behind the door shut line, so lots of filler to match the gap, bummer cos it means im gonna have to use loads of filler to make it look right again.. But the panel I made from an old cavalier wing is good, im happy with the finish, ill post some pics later.

Hiya mate, yeah she's still my baby lol, I found the little patch, and I was speculating when it was done, nice to know! shame whoever did the repair used so much body filler, cos the rot didnt get through it til it was this bad, I would have liked to have caught it earlier, im gonna do the other side too while im at it.

Normal Running temp
Mine is an N/A but never moves from dead centre on the guage, 88c is optimum im sure, the shroud will help a little, especially in static traffic, but I reckon your problems are more than fitting a shroud will fix, try a new thermostat to start with is what I would do. good luck mate Foole

White Smoke 300zx twin turbo - Auto
If its not moisture in the exhaust its possibly burning coolant (head gasket) when its cold start it up with the rad cap off and look for exhaust smelling bubbles in the coolant. I hope its just moisture in your exh, good luck!

Time to Panic ?
shouldnt think it would find its way into the timing case, its sealed unless you have the modified case with adjustable cam sprockets, if its gone near anything that rotates or moves though I would be looking for it! You need a magnet on a stick lol.

Sill/Arch repair
Many thanks for the help guys, That repair panel you had looks easy enough to manufacture myself,i was hoping for a more extensive repair panel that included the inner sill etc.. But it looks like i might have to get on it with some sheet steel and i'll have to hire a mig. If anybody has any documenting pictures of welding the inner sill it would be a great help. Thanks again folks Foole

Sill/Arch repair
Hi folks, Has anyone had to tackle anything like this? I found this horror story hidden underneath a centimetre of body filler, Gutted! I cant find any repair kits,i'm considering just rebuilding it myself with some sheet steel. If anybody has done this repair before,do you have any pointers on the job? Many thanks Foole

Sheffield Dronfield or Dronford S2
Was it you in the grey Z just round the corner from co op? I was in a co op lorry passing you on my way down the hill. Its wierd and maybe a bit sad that I get an urge to wave and flash lights even when im not in my Z... I didnt wave or flash lights tho, I resisted lol

95tt brake bleeding prob
did you remove the calipers? I once fitted a pair of 300ZX front calipers to my 200SX and put them on the wrong sides, this located the bleed nipple BELOW the brake hose input and obviously air rises... Best of luck

8-10 seconds 0-60 mph
I havnt worked on a tt, I have an na, but ive seen them, and those turbos are a very snug fit in there.. but I would try to wind in your waste gate actuators, if theyre aftermarket items they will be threaded, not sure but the standard ones may be threaded too?

intermttent blower?
Haha.. just finished a night shift when I wrote that earlier lol

8-10 seconds 0-60 mph
sounds like your over boosting to me, get an accurate guage and go for a drive and open her up, I have a feeling that when you reach near full boost on full throttle you will start to hear thar detonating sound and your boost guage needle will falter/shake. Possibly a previous owner has upped the boost but then sold the car on with a standard ECU. A quick fix would be to reduce the boost and see if it drives better, before you spend on expensive diagnostics. Best of luck. foole

intermttent blower?
Hi folks, does anyone know where the blowers earth cable connects to the chassis? I have a feeling it may just be a bad earth. Many thanks foole
