can anyone help i have splits in my four front pipes especially the throttle body ones where can i get some upgrades from cheers i did see some ijen ones once but cant find them :confused:

thanks for the replies i took it to a garage near me called guglielmi they said sounds like cam belt problem or ac pulley or oil temp sensor they also said i have boost leaks anyway its booked in tuesday there gona do a full check on it and in the meantime i need to find some boost pipes :headvswal

i have a aftermarket temp gauge and it never moves till i stop and let it idle i have my turbo timer set to 1 min if i set it to auto it goes to around 5 mins if i have been bootin it

i used 1 whole can and cleaned with a clean toothbrush the noise sounds like its comin from there area

yeah it did but the reason i cleaned them was because the revs kept on going up and down they average around 1000rpm and go up to 2k thats on idle but after i cleaned them the noise came do you still have the nose piece znutt

just had a service 6 weeks ago by thor racin could it be tapets

crank speed it gets louder as the revs build sounds a bit like spowky dokes on a bike wheel

haha yeah thats in the bin now put everything back together now the noise gets faster with the revs gettin faster

hi ive just cleaned out the throttle bodies and induction kit and disconnected negative from battery now ive just started it and there is a loud knocking noise coming from the top of the engine please help i dont wanna be zed less :confused:

does anyone know how far to push the toothbrush when cleaning the throttle bodies cheers im a complete dummy when it comes to mechanics

does anyone know if using air intake and carburettor cleaner will be ok for cleaning the throttle bodies cheers

or should i just take it to a good garage near me and ask them to sort it

does anyone in the northants area have a conzult i can use cause my 91 tt has something up with it its missfirin and the revs are goin up and down like mad and it sounds like a bag of bolts rattlin i had a missfire before and thor racin replaced 3 inj conns they said i need the throttle bodies and idle sensor cleanin out but i aint no mechanic cheers :headvswal

yeah am gutted i missed it not that far from me neither but had problems with my marine fish tank so had to sort it spent all day yesterday polishin my zed ready for today but still goin to jae
