Hi Alex, I know mate, not good, especially seeing as I had the front drivers go on me the other week! Two nails in a really good tyre!!! Have decided to stop using Dunlop SP9000's as I am sure their Jinxed! My rear two tryes started to rip where the tread joins the main tyre!!!! As if they were remoulds or somet!!! Shocking mate, so no more Dunlops for me!! As for the upper link arms, its £430 for the pair as its a waste of time just getting one so I am gonna have to get both.....Mmmm, thats gonna have to wait a few months though.....credit card is full :D Dave, I will have to get hold of a Jack and the standard wheel spanner doesnt fit inside my nut holes on my wheel!! I have to use a special socket!! Know anyone with a spare 300 jack?? Hi Vinz, I have stored your number in my phone mate and will call you over the weekend. R u gonna be about? Splatt, yes mate def was tracking I cam confirm, just take another look at the pics of the close up of my wings and you can see the camber of the wheels is quite heavy!! Like Alex suggests, gonna have to sort the Adjustable Upper Link arms from the ZCentre....:( Means me intercooler is gonna have to be put back!!! :( Ah well....

Andy mate, did the adjustable upper links help? If so, where can I get some from and are they easy to set up? I will def not let the AA man or anyone else jack me car up again , or if they are to do so, then I will make sure they have strict advice of where to Jack, thanks for the diagram Dave ;). What wheel changing tools do you guys carry in case of emergency? Are the standard tools good enough for 18"s and a lowered car??

No there was no rubbing noises at all, and there never has been. I guess then I need to claim the repair bill from AA claims......I did sign the form though to say he had done his bit......is this a disclaimer? Well fooked off, car looks like its growing wings, literally!!!

Guys, Yesterday driving home I had a blow out, not a slow puncture, just "buff" and then a "rumble rumble"............going through Market Harborough... Anyway, I pull into a side thinking "f*ck!" and get otu to have a look! My passenger tyre blew out but this is what happend (see image)... Now, the rest of the tyre is good but it looks like its been rubbing for some time but I never noticed it before? Does this happen on anyone else's? My tyres are 225/40/18 on the front..... So, I call the AA as I dont have a jack in the car (soon to be addressed) and he comes along and proceeds to jack the car up, after wedging a cheese?!? under the front wheel to raise the car. He then puts the trolley jack under the door pillar and starts to jack, then, theres a sound and my wing pops out!! :shock: :shock: I told himt o slow downa nd he was really apologetic but he says the lip underneath has crumbled and this is whats happened. I, shocked, checked the other side and it looks like this side is doing it too!! WTF???? I take it this is a common Zed problem, well for UK cars anyway!! Any ideas how to get around this? How to jack my car up without destroying it?? And how to sort me wing??? :cry:

Hello mate, I have the same problem too, when I brake hard the car ends up stalling when coming to a stop. I make sure that I can brake hard, have time to release for 2 secs to allow the revs to rise and then brake again. When it first happened to me, I ovetook a row of ten cars, went down a really steep hill and then broke hard. Stalled in the middle of the roundabout, paniced and forgot to put it back into 'P' so it wouldnt start, allten cars then drove by me, how embarassing!!!!! Now I give it plenty of room to brake. Be nice to know the reason why though?!?

Thats it Dave, spot on, that exactly how I want the rear of my car to look, obviously without the tape etc etc..... Tis in the back of my mind that its crying out for somet though??? Mmmmmmm..... I guess once its gone, then I can think about getting one on if I change my mind.

Hey Vinz, I am the one that sposed to be ill...LMAO! :D Anyway, still alive, got a headache but apart from that feelin mich better so far today...... Thanks for all your help guys, the missus and me two brothers turned up about 5pm today whilst I was feelin realyl sh1tty, they soon cheered me up. Brother has gone to get us a DVD and the missus is cooking us all spag bol. I do feel better whilst typing this and hopefully will remain this way..... Yazeen, I diddnt realise this, i think I will do this when I am better......when.....:)

Bloody Hell Mark that sounds horrific!!!! Well, I still feel sh1te, had soem food, struggled to keep it down, just feel like I have no energry even though I have been drinking Lucozade most the afternoon...... I guess with normal FLu you at least have a headache, sore throat etc etc but with whatever I have, I do just feel a bit out of it, very drained and a little sicky....weird, never had this before.... :confused: Jock, I think I will mate, just for the sake of knowing really.... Cant believe it, for probably the 4th time this year already I am ill again!! (no sarky comments about my mental state please!!) I HATE being ill....... :nono: Had to leave work early today, thought I was gonna pass out so had to go into the spare office, drink coffee and have a choccy bar (as recommended by my boss) and thta really seemed to give me some energy.....but I was still really shaken so I got to go home. Drove the zed 50 miles home without going above 0+/-psi, thats how slow I went!!!! Bin home, had a kip, dont feel 100% typing this now but I feel better for the kip.......had the doc ring me, says its more than likely some viral infection rather than Diabetes or anything like that, although my family do have a history of this..... Anyone else has somet similiar.....ie low sugar levels.....cant wait to get better, the zed needs a polish!! :p Mark
