Alex, I hear what your saying about the start, do u have standard alloys? They are supposed to make quite a diff if u lower the pressure...... I think Shrimpy practised his on the streets!! Mmmm, Alex, have you read the post from Zhound, if your running 15psi or thereabouts and your engines in good nick, you should be pushing out around 340ish bhp at least, maybe more..... You should be able to get into the 12's with that amount of power, the start makes ALL the difference, have you tried different tyres??

Wrong question Adam, I dont need to keep up, I will never need to try and keep up, I meant to get as good as a start. Slicks, probably, I am no tyre expert so maybe someone on here who has experience of dragging a zed can help...... I am guessing slicks would be a benefit, somehow the balanced has to be equalled from the start as the MRPOO already has an advantage.....if slicks is the answer then so be it.....Or maybe a full tank of fuel to help sit the back end down......or maybe you in the boot.....shall we give it a go? Hellooooo??? Of course it is, the 300 just needs it tryes warming up first and perhaps for the MR2 to spin for a second, maybe it doesnt even need it, down to the driver/perticular car/tyres etc.... Both cars then cover the first 60' within the same time and the 300 will win! Why did the MR2 win? Only cus it got a better start, the zed has more grunt and had it had an equal start, would have kicked its arse, no questions asked. Alex, what was your 60' time?

Well I'm going down tomorrow to see whats about but I need my car at Thor first to get it right before I can NAIL it. I have detonation at around 5500revs so I need the fueling sorted to match the increased boost, as soon as this is done I will arrange a date for us all to go down...

Really have to echo this point Steve, I dont give a scots flying fook if your in a rush, how can you, HOW THE FOOK can you just come up to a roundabout and not look to see if a car is coming round.
