silver zed on the mancunian way in manchester about 8.300.slight back quarter damage but looked good

im just in the middle of doing new sills , inner and outer , once done its solid again but if i was to get a rolling shell iwould have engine upholstery , everything to change ,, seems like a much bigger job

they only work when tour headlights are on . i have them and sometimes its a good posing feture especially in a jam ...

i have them and she sticks to corners like poo to your finger... was on the car when i got it sorry some bodypanel work needed to the rear strut

its frightening when you see a little hole in your sill of your pride and joy and you investigate and when your finished theres nothing there at all right through to the inner sill . i think the titanic is in better shape than my sills.....

definatly ..looks like i may have to concoct some out of other sills to make fit .. just hope it hasnt gone too far and i have to drop the bak cross member too.. the job just keeps getting bigger .. then it all starts again on the othe side aarrrrggggggggggggggggggggggg looks like i wont be playing this sumer got to go and buy a mig welder yet

started to sort out my rust problems yesterday the front corner had collapsed due to jacking up so i cut away the sill only to find the ibside section rotten and part of the ploor so ive got on with cutting it ll away . what i now need is ... somewhere to get the replacement sills and inner sills so i can put it all back together.. any ideas :headvswal

all sorted . managed to fit it .. just getting on with the rust now arrrrg does it ever stop

hi all, ive had my zed for 8 months now and when i bought it i had it in a garage to cure an oil leek. after lots of money he said its also leaking from the coupling on the block on the drivers side next to the turbo ,i think its the turbo feed but the previous owner siliconed it to stop it leaking . just took it of well it fell off and the threads on it are gone but it looks like the turbo is in the way when you turn it to fit it , is there any other way to fit it.. new one on order

i to have a whineing gearbox and when i bought the car i too thought it was the clutch bearing, had new clutch fitted but the noise is still there, at the moment im just putting up with it

the throttle actually sticks solid, i have to push hard on the thottle o release it but its not the cable ..thats free bit of a bugger when setting off fom the lights. no hessitation just like it jams was wondering it they were closing too far and could be set up

hi all is there a way to set the theottle bodis for tick over . went to a garage last year and he messed around to keep it ticking over but it was an air leak. now they need setting up again, at tick over the throttle sticks as if the butterfly in the body is jamming. the cable is free it dosent do it with the engine off. so maybe the vacumm has a role to play . hoping to get it set up before the mot for the emissions

my z has just started to miss slightly especially from cold, seems to pull ok but you can fel a misss on her. the idle seems low too do you think its an air leak

seen around 8.30am heading to and from ashton town center.

how can i tell if my engine is in safe boost mode ..i think thats the term used.

i used to get it but mine was an oil leak and it was the oil burning on the exhaust . still get it from time to time till it gets burned off completley

was sat at the lights with foot on brake pedel..as you do then suddenly the pedel buzzed and bounced and then the abs light came on . tried everything to turn it off but it didnt went a mile up the road parked up for ten mins started her up no light ..hasnt come on since any ideas cheers
