Urgent - Immobiliser/Alarm help
Is the Toad Ai606 any good? I've had a search around and can't seem to find anyone that still fits this model. There are a few other 'interactive/pager' systems available but I've not idea on pricing (fitted) or whether these are any good or not...

Transformers 2 - Review
Just saw this tonight....and I was very surprised at how entertaining it was! I didn't much like the first one due to the 'funny' bits but I guess I knew what to expect in this one and it was fab! And holy cow how hot is Megan Fox??? Do you think if I sent her a pic of myself she'd see the error of her ways, ditch Shia and move to my box room with me??? lol

Perfect Weather!
I dare say it'd be a lot more than that!! I'm sure my autobox acts as a multiplier of at least 0.5...

I'm assuming this keyguard system is the equivalent of an immobiliser then? Do you have any promo links? I'm just about to google it but if you have any info on it would be much appreciated. Cheers bud

I much prefer the choco magnums in my hands but then that's just me...i like to stick to what I know and am comfortable with....lol.. I'm hoping to get away to Europe for a few days late on in the summer too...was thinking of heading through Switz, N Italy and S France. Just a brain fart at the mo but hopefully...just need to save up enough cash for petrol first! lol

Urgent - Immobiliser/Alarm help
 Any recommendations? I might start looking into this then. For the time being, pulling the fuel pump fuse (cheers Jimmy) seems to be the most security I can afford aside from locking the doors!

Urgent - Immobiliser/Alarm help
I don't get it...do I have to buy this cd? Cheers for the help though bud...appreciate it but I'm pretty sure the diagrams in this manual I've got are the wiring diagrams. The problem is me...I'm as useful as a glass hammer when it comes to these things so was hoping to find someone (possibly funded) who could wire it back in for me. As I said, most of the wires/sensors are still in place. It's just the control unit (?) which has been disconnected and removed as it was wired in incorrectly...

Urgent - Immobiliser/Alarm help
The manual i have says 'Sikura' but that's all. Looks pretty old but it worked well when I had it working. The immobiliser is a 'Vecta Shadow' (??) and then there's the RLTC. Obviously my priorities are the alarm and immob but eventually need the RLTC reconnected as well.

Nooooo....:( Whereabouts in Cumbria are you? I do drive up as far North (Midlands!) as Stoke so shouldn't be too much effort to go that extra bit...?

Turbo Timer
I bet he can't wire back in an immobiliser, alarm and RLTC!!

Urgent - Immobiliser/Alarm help
Hey guys Is anyone one here good with car electrics - specifically immobilisers and alarms? I've got all the hardware in place already but as it turns out they were wired up in a bit of a bodge manner so on getting my rebuild and a new loom they were left unconnected (i.e. wires cut out with enough length to rewire properly). Is there anyone that might be able to help me get these wired back in properly? I'm a bit nervous as having spent all that cash on the engine the car is now sitting there with just the central locking protecting it!! Would appreciate any help!! Obviously I'm looking to get this done sooner rather than later.... Thanks all Vig

Not sure what's going on here  but I'll pm you bud (Shrek) and see if we can come to an arrangement. My dilemma being that I was only going for a manny conversion as my auto was shagged...or so i thought! Jimmer changed the oil for me and it seems to be behaving itself. I'll be doing a lot of motorway mileage tomorrow so should hopefully get a better idea so we can go from there! Cheers bud :)

I've got the Z1 GT535r tubs :) That IS interesting about the gearbox though...may I ask how come they'll be available? What are you going for? Surely not an auto conversion??

Transformers 2 - Review
I wasn't a huge fan of the first one to be honest...was a bit too 'jokey' and you couldn't really see what was going on in the action scenes. Was kinda hoping they'd sort it out for the sequel but I guess not...:(

Stu, the name's Vig! :) I've listed all the work in my rides but I'm sure I've missed something. I'm sure Jimmer will be along shortly to correct my mistakes :wack: I did have probs at the RR - I was lead to believe I had very poor compression in a few of the cylinders as well as a split in one of the oem intake pipes and knackered piston rings!! The car is now driving sweet as and is so responsive!! Plus I've got the upgraded bits (555s, bigger decats, divorced dpipes and bigger tubs and manifolds) and its all just giving such a smoother delivery of power to the tarmac. The only limitation so far is my gearbox so its running stock boost/12psi at the mo but Jimmer has promised me a 24psi max so I'm looking forward to that!! :smash: As for pics, I'm just sorting those out but here's a teaser... Obviously there's a bit more I want to do to make it all look nice (hardpipes, etc) but one step at a time...

I really am mate but I've still got a way to go as the auto box was playing up (though it seems to be ok now ) but I'm hoping for a manual conversion soon as well...:hyper:
