Three and a half years ago i gave my car and £500 to a certain person to perform a rebuild.I supplied all the parts (Wiseco pistons,Eagle rods,Cometic Headgaskets,Tomie Cams,Greddy TD 05 18G turbos,Pentroof manifolds,AEM ECU etc etc)Then four months ago i got a phone call from him saying he was having financial difficulties and couldnt pay the rent on his unit.Now knowing from a third party my engine was complete and ready to go in i paid him a further £500. Well after excuse after excuse i finaly had an email from him last Saturday saying that he had payed the rent up in full and was waiting for the keys and i could collect my car at that time. Not believing this i made some inquieries of my own and spoke to the unit next door who informed me that the garage had been broken into on two occasions and the tennent when informed could not make the 3 miles becouse he had no transport. My next move was to contact the landlord who was very obligeing and just wants the unit empty.as the rent has not been paid and he has another tennent waiting to go in. However i am not alone here as i know of another 2 people who have parts and cars there. I am meeting with the landlord and the police Friday morning to examin the unit and do an invitory. I have emailed the said mechanic to be there also but with no reply. I will keep you all informed when i return on Friday. \gutted Steve

I dont know as when i ws setting up the boost controller the heads went so out came the engine and a complete rebuild with TD05 18G,s etc. I get it back for xmas finished or not

When i had the GT28R,s i did mine to 10 psi

They will be fitted with 2x ueago wideband sensors (permanently) and hooked up to my AEM ECU which hopefully will go through my carputor for real time mapping with out having to plug a laptop in all the time.

I tell you All two are better than one It took me months to persuade my Mrs to have a dog as our Jack russel died and she said no more. But when she was diagnosed with cancer of the kidney i went and bought the first to take her mind off it. They are like her new kids she absolutly adores them.And this is from someone who doesnt even like dogs LOL. One is good fun but two is double the fun honest.

I boght my second dog when the first was a year old. At first the older one was very quiet towards me and my Mrs and she reckond it had changed him Now however they are the best of mates and are inseperable they just play fight all day. I say do it its a bit of a long haul but worth it:)

Hi Paul well he had a few problems with the turbo pipeing which AnthonyD (ta mate) managed to sort out for us and the engine is going in this week. If it hasnt i will be up there with a trailer and a van.Thus the garage clear out.

For your information im a mechanical engineer and deal with computors all day long and work overseas. CHAV ill have you know i work 14 hours a day up to my neck in grease,Bentonite,Hydraulic oil etc. Have a look at this:tongue:
