Hi guys well after 2 years of being without my engine i finally get it back next week. The problem is what to do with it? As some of you might remember this engine has everything done to it (Greddy TD 05 Turbos,Pentroof manifolds etc) Do I sell it as one lump or break it down for parts? Answers on a post card:mellow:

Well the police have found my engine. It was found very near the unit it was stolen from. The problem i now have is that i am breaking my car and no longer have the heart or the money to start again. Apart from that my work load has doubled and i am finding myself further away from home than i have been used to. Just when i thought the insurance where going to pay up so i would get at least three quaters of the 15k ive spent on it, It appears. So if any body wants it make me a reasonable offer please do. Steve.

Well Ive been in Mexico now for 3 weeks and i haven't done a thing. My machine is stuck 88m underground (earthquake) and we cant get it out. We want to get another from Germany (£10000) and dig it out later but the Mexicans:alucard: cant make a decision. God its boring

Yeh cheers AL im down about 15K as it stands been adding it all up for the insurers. It all depends what i get back to be honest as at the moment i have a lot going on.And with work being so slow i cant see myself back in Europe for a while to enjoy it. The guy they have arrested has his own business across from the garage,so if he gets done for the lot there may be full compensation or maybe even my parts back.Who Knows? I just have to let my solicitor run with it for a while and see what happens.

Well a couple of months have gone by now and still no news of my engine or wheels. However it seems the garage involved IS insured and i have a solicitor on the case now. A guy has been arrested although what he is being charged with is still unclear as the police are still investigating. I now have the problem of trying to find all my receipts and im missing a few (wiseco pistons,eagle rods,cometic head gaskets,full gasket set etc) Depending on the outcome of the insurers is the deciding factor as to what i do with the car.Wether to break the car or just to put a standard engine in and run it as that.Either way i can see me selling my AEM ECU and a few other parts. I will wait for the outcome of the court case to see whats what and make my decision on that. I would like to thank Jeff TT ,Paul Kemp and Steve Nellis for all they have done for me as being stuck here in Mexico is a real pain as i cant even make a phone call. Thanks again guys. Steve

Hi Mike no i think he was advised by the police not to. I just need him to get his head together and sort out what is mine and put it all in one place so i can collect it next week and decide what im going to do. But its pretty difficult when i cant contact him. Thanks for posting Mike appreciated.

Due to Legraths suggestion:thumbup1: I have decided to put up a list of parts which have been stolen and pictures where i have them. I.2x Volk GTP wheels and tyres.(these wheels have been discontinued and have Bridgestone RE01 tyres which you cannot get in the uk) 18 inch 2.Pentroof Manifolds (these are brand new and are very shiney stainless steel) 3. Trust wastegates 4.2X Greddy TD05 18G turbos (with downpipes) New. 5.6X Sard 850cc fuel injectors with Border fuel rail. 6.full engine with forged internals icluding Tomie cams and solid lifters. Plus a lot of small stuff like series 2 PTU A/F gauges,Rad Bracket etc.

Unfortunatly i cant manage attachments as my subscription expired at xmas:blush:

Right an update. After visting the garage today i have a rough idea of what was stolen.However the place is in such a mess its hard to say about the smaller peices. 1.My engine complete with tubs,manifolds injectors,just about everything realy 2.2 Volk GTP wheels with brand new tyres (mine) 3. 2 Vortex wheels with new Falcon tyres (mine) 4.2 Power enterprise air filters. The other cars got away quite lightly as far as i can tell with one having just the wheels taken as the turbos,pistons and con rods were still there as tyhe neighbour saw them on the floor along with my AEM ECU and Koyo rad awaiting their next trip no doubt. Anyway the police are on the look out now but im not holding my breath. Gutted Steve

When the guy has lost 20Ks worth of gear of mine and lies to me that its still there,Doesnt inform the police of the break in and refuses to answer emails and refuses to come on the internet.Makes me kind of suspicious doesnt it you?

Dont worry i will as soon as i have all the facts. Everything i have written so far as i know is the truth but dont want to leave myself open to slander.

Thanks Guys im just hopeing that posting this on all sites will bring him to his senses and all the stuff will be returned when i get there. I know where he lives,his house,and his mothers house so will be passing all this information on to the police.

The break in was only about 3 weeks ago so it would be difficult to move that sort of specialised stuff

Because every time i phoned i was told all was ok until last Saturday when i did some investigative work of my own. He hasnt even reported the break in.

I have been working in Spain and not coming home for months on end and when i do its only for 2 days.So at the time i just kept adding bits like bigger tubs etc for when i finished over there.
