  3. i think the r32 is beautifull, i like them in black with orange indicators (strangely)
  4. i sold one not long ago, they dont measure BHP, just HP. The problem is you have to take into consideration drag and stuff whilst moving compared to none on a rolling road. Anyway... go slow into second or third gear then floor it till redline, it measures best when you use mainly one gear, same goes when you do another run with a new mod. And the weight must be bang on, goto your local weighbridge or waste tip and weigh your car and you together
  5. i was half expecting that

  13. there is some alacatara sold on ebay through a belgium firm called raceland, you can order however much you like and you only pay one postage fee. Top quality stuff too. The reason i say this is because i know most people seem to like alacantara, but velour is a bit of 'marmite'
  14. interesting replies too:
  15. sort of, it doesn't detect its condition as such as the sound of knocking only, sometimes faulty sensors can detect the wrong sound and fool your ecu to go into safety boost when all is fine, other times it can do quite the opposite and not detect a thing even with the engine buggered.
  16. the knock sensor detects a certain sound (knocking sound) which occures during detonation inside the engine, To my knowledge the knock sensor in a Z32 requires removal of the whole plenum and fuel rail and can be done with the engine in. i belive some people reposition the sensor when it fails but the standard location is best to detect knocking. Others simply bypass it with a resister. the problem being then there is no detection of det which will destroy your engine. However if your engine is serviced reqularly and you use good fuel and dont go over boosting your engine should be fine anyway.
  17. i love the r32 the most, alsolutely love the r32's exterior
