Timekeeping is my biggest problem too.

Ive just popped open my old ECU and it seems to have been socketed and chipped, on top of the chip is a silver sticker with a scribed in circle with a line in the centre. anybody any ideas on the chip? The ECU has a 'remanufactured' sticker on the front, could it been the revisions made were written onto the chip?

Flooded? I had the same problem not to long ago, it didn't seem flooded but it was, dried out the plugs, removed the fuel pump fuse, cranked it over a few times, replaced plugs and fuse and bobs your uncle
