whats the site?

ok finally got round to checking the tps it was only at about 0.32v so now to adjust it to the correct value and there was the problem only one screw holding it on not 2 and even at that the one wont tighten properly, so going to have to re tap the thread and get some new screws. with the one i set it to the proper value and took it for a drive feels alot more responsive and instead of boosting at 6-7 psi its now 8-9psi however it still cuts out with the clutch in not as quick as it used to mind you

im an electrician. cover most aspects of domestic work from sockets and lights when wiring houses or flats. also fit an wire fire alarm systems,smoke vent system, street lighting, door entry systems all sparky stuff basically. hoping to delve into inteligent power systems ie where whole houses are controlled by a remote control but just far to busy with my own work the now, definitely something for the future though

yeah lol the most pointless mod and waste of money on an auto lol i drove the car for ages not even knowing it had them lol i do like them but if it meant it fixed the car id have them removed

probably was had a lot of nasty custom bits fitted under the hood was in getting it all changed by the new owner

good good something my sparky tools will come into use for apart from sockets and lights lol will give it a check tomorrow. what do you recon about craigs comments si? cars got bovs fitted were on when i bought the car 3 1/2 years ago now however only noticed this when i converted to a manual a few months back car is also only boosting to 7psi

neither of us could really put our finger on it we just thought that as when you drop the bonnet on an evo when running it pushes air through the filter and the car almost cuts out similar to what mine is doing as if i slow the car down quick enough it doesnt cut out. how would i go about checking the tps? or is it a case of swapping it over with a new one?

when traveling above about 35mph if i dip the clutch to say coast up to traffic lights or that the revs will fall right to zero and the car will die then kick back in when the clutch is lifted. my mechanic seems to think that there was some sort of deflector plate or something infront of the air filter and maf to stop the air shooting straight in he recons its been missing after the bodykit was fitted would this cause this or is it something else?

na its actually note for a change just spent all my money fixing it not got any left to enjoy it didnt know my mot was even up thank god i hadnt been driving it it ran out a month ago lol

im out mine has no mot and doubt if il have the money too get it done before then even if i did it would mean no money to go thinking of taking it off the road for a while anyway so i can get it all finished and ready for next year got alot i need to get done on it

looking at getting this front bumper to replace my damaged one, just wondering where would be best to get it from i see its on the zcenter best just to get it from there?

my mum has the battery operated salt and pepper dispensers now that is lazy lol once spent 15 minutes looking for the rock salt to refill it when the normal salt was there but she wouldnt use it as she wanted to use her powered ones lol however it is something im going to get lol they have a light and everything :)

front drivers side, mine hardly moves from the drive now lol take it to football thats about it. the wife to be has a car now so just use hers for shopping ect

yeah know what you mean mine needs a service new brake discs and is also missing a wheel stud lol but should manage to get it all at the end of the month
