Hello everybody,i'm french and i've a 1996 300zx Twin turbo car (the last 300zx in europe)...I'd decided to offer at my car the stage III (but is harder to do it with a 1996 car the ecu is different (16 bits isn't it ?) that the 1990-1994 300zx tt) then i decided to contact ash spec... In the first time there was a mistake because they sold to me a eprom for a 1990-1994 300 zx tt... In a second time,i must add more money to buy a Ecu in stage III for my 1996 (16 bits) 300zx then i've received it but my car wasn't run good (grazes,smoke...). In a third time i send back the ecu to ash (with my money) and after two weeks i received it again. I was very happy to try it again then i put the ecu in my car : my car start good without smoke but my "chek" seeing is swith on...Also i test my ecu with a 31 code error and with another code error (i've forgotten my second code error) then i decided to send again my ecu to ash (again with my money)... After many mails ,ash don't reply at my mails,i think that he don't want to find a solution for me and prefer to not reply at my mails !!!... My car run very well with my origin ecu "code 55" (the problem is with the ash ecu).. After more that six months and 3 delivery i've paid a service for nothing and now i've no news with ash spec....I'm very disapointed by ash... Someone could help me to phone at ash ??? because i'm french and my english is not so good to speak on telephone... Ash know me as "jose kerlaud Ecu France" for my 300 zx 1996 TT. OK thank you very much for yours answers. Then i want to find an old ecu for my 1996 300zx TT but all the old ecu are ok (1990 at 1994 ) ??? If it's ok , and if someone sell an old ecu for my car with a good price,i'm interested...

With ash,the chip stop for the 1994 Year... It isn't ok for a 1996... Ash doesn't work for the 1996 ecu ... It's not easy with my car !!! i prefer the 1990-1994 300zx TT lol

I search how to upgrade my 300zx TT ecu 1996 (5 speed).But it's not easy for my car because it's a 16 bits ecu. If you have a good solution (or a good chip seller) thank you to help me. Regards.

Hello i've got my second 300zx TT but my new car is a 1996 300zx (european version (germany) ). You can look at my ecu but i don't know how i can chip this ecu? Perharps JWT or i've heard that we can change this ecu by an older (1993 or 1994 ???) but is it necessary to make many mecanics change with an old ecu ??? Thnak you to help me,a 300 zx stage III is more pleasent that a stock 300zx :) :) :) . Thank you very much to help me... Best regards..
