with all my cars ive owned ive never had what ive wanted bought the shape but could never afford the top model and having bought my 300 afew years ago and the money ive spent fixing it im well and truly gutted i didnt get a tt,the car looks amazing but power a concern,is it true which is questionable "top gear" you lose 5hp a year id have nothing?

have got insurance policys mate pensions etc was your mrs in the car at the time????? just joking

sorry to hear that mate,i hardly drive mine 1000 miles a year if im lucky family dont fit,but lucky got garage,you got a nice beast there ,i feel the same some times cant be bothered with it after months but as all the members will agree when i do get back in it god what a feeling mate hang in there zs are like the sunset shame when they go down but theres always sunrise!!!

my front indicators are jet black and rears were too,i redone the rears as wanted them to look really shiney but mot bloke failed the rears and passed the front indicators,even though you could see the lights through the black when on and reflectors werent sprayed black,so got a set off jeff back to standard,the mot bloke said put the black ones back on if you want just needed to see orginals for mot.

shame not much action on the welsh side of the club and like you said we are scattered about all over wales mate,i wonder how many 300s in wales and how many are in the club,as alot of the members go quiet,and id say alot use the club for tech help rather than meets as that side of things is second to none.

depends where the meet was as big divide north and south unfortunately,there seems to be afew who meet up in cardiff but thats miles away for you,ive never met up with anyone just rely on japfest each year mate and not to many welsh members attend that either.

just seen that v8 monster wow,i can see your point about the heart of the car being ripped out but if the purpose was to simplfy things with more power and you had the time and money why not?

Just been looking at youtube and noticed 300s with supra engines and skyline engines in them has anyone in the club ever tried this?

i hardly drive beast these days stuck in garage very awkward with 2 young kids and mrs stuck in garage so a £10 lasts me a month lol,and will do 35 miles on that

No wasnt you mate rip off garage down here,they not used to working on these types of cars cheers ,ive emailed you pics etc

all sorted now mate,had new btiming belt fitted and garage didnt adjust cas unit,just needed to know if car used to be an auto as wouldnt run at correct timing mark,but was told may be neutral switch faulty,didnt even know it had one so timing reads 26 deg btdc,apparently you get the same prob if it was an auto comversion all sorted now.

mines a 1992 na decatted asked vosa to send me details so could show mot tester passed no probs

didnt think you can use no claims on both cars its one or the other it is with mine with adrian flux anyway

ive got a copy of email and letter he posted happy to send it just need email address

ive had trouble with emissions in prev mots (testing car for cats and decatted)so i emailed vosa and they posted info on nissan 300s not being on database so only idle test can be carried out.
