Monday got full sun so maybe the weather will rain itself out today and tonight and yours will then be allowed out,lol ;) Looking like the SW are joining up from both ends to make a cracking meet :nana2: and some convoys along the way...Enjoy your blasts guys, see ya all tmw :hyper:
  2. Its droplets like discoloured rain, looks brown in some light then faded white if looked at in diff angle.. No streaks tho
  3. Ye exactly mate, will dig out some big ugly blokes to come along, lol  Will keep ya posted ;)
  4. Sprayer never had a clue or pretended not too...argued it out never got no where  took it to another friend who knows about spraying and he said straight away what Dave has put, him and his mate did. They said it will polish out with buffing machine, they said its one of those things that can happen yrs after being sprayed  But now I do know IT WAS there fault, no other explaination, but he wont admit it. Be going there monday and I will make him buff the whole car!!! I was on my own and 6 other people stood there against me saying dunno what it was, he WILL be getting a bad name around Plymouth after this
  5. The guy tried a strong compound and didnt make no diff...
  6. Oh I intend too....
  7. Well the bloke that works was looking at it and there was nothing on it then, he admitted it was fine. As was admiring it, along with Dave and I
  8. It wasnt wet paint, it was raining...and he was rinsing it with hose
  9. As above, went outside to fit my new blingy bits to find this strange marking all over my paintwork  As you might have known had my spoiler fitted and collected the z yesterday. It was raining and the car was wet so never really took much notice. Came home parked the car up and left it until today. Its like the car has been wiped with a cloth and left a water type drip mark all over bonnet, wings, doors and pretty much everywhere. Needless to say I took it straight to body shop but the boss wasnt there, had a chat with the guy who works there but he dont know what it is...it has eaten into laquer. Got to take it back in morning to show the sprayer. Just wanted to ask if anyone has got any ideas what it could be? Really upset at mo, we have tried to polish it out but it aint moving. And I have got to try and get the bloke to admit he has wiped it with something nasty on the cloth that has made this react like that, else I am looking to fork out for another respray which I really dont think is fair :headvswal
  10. Carry on mate, like I have said arrange meets up your end, and if I can make them I will :D
  11. Happy Birthday to you both, have a great day :duffer: :duffer: :)
  12. That would be good, even tho the hypnosis should avoid any need for NRT. But just incase yes please ;) Thanks for your support peeps :D
  13. Ok everyone, thanks for the nice comments on the job I am doing and for the comments from everyone. I do understand its not easy to please everyone, but I have tried to be fair. I have given the next 2 months to Castle Combe as our meeting area and as its near to Gloucester thought this was fair for you guys up there  As I have said b4, I WILL do some meets up there and had full intension of doing that for the last meet but then these track days for the next 2 months came up and used that as a solution instead. Bearing in mind c/c is 140 mile from me and much further for the cornish I didnt think I needed to arrange a local meet because of this. I think it is best that if some members are not happy with the meeting points carry on and arrange your local meets til I think its time to arrange one in your area. Thats the best I can say really. But I will try and arrange sometime up there in the near future after these next 2 meets. Use these next 2 meets to try and have a great turn out and meet others from other regions :D Also, I am open to any suggestions you all throw at me ;)
  14. Hi peeps, just thought I'd share with you that I am giving up smoking on Tuesday :D been to docs got patches etc, over to Red zeds on monday evening for hypnosis then thats it, 3rd time lucky ;) wish me luck :D :nana2:
  15. Also, if you want to have a separete REO you have my count, less stress on me......... :headvswal
  16. I am not very happy about this thread...You guys up there have never tried to come slightly south for a change to attend a meet...I am really offended on how you think I am trying to arrange these meets  I'd like to have comments from the 'Cornish' as they prob think they were left out b4. I am in the middle of the region..Have your local meets, its good to meet up and have a yap, but there are far more meets up Bristol way, just a shame you guys from Gloucester dont want to drive your z'ds and enjoy them  P.S. Had this same convo with the cornish about attending meets in Bristol, and now they are trying to make an effort to travel, which I very much apprieciate  Going to be a great meet on Sunday too, alllll welcome :D
  17. :D Cool, hey practise makes perfect, keep it steady til you know how it handles, you'll soon have the hang of it, more practise on way to the meet on sunday
  18. Hey...how was the first drive mate? Looking forward to see it in the flesh on sunday :hyper: and meeting you too,lol ;) Nice buy :D
  19. I am doing it as fair as I can, more meets are closer to Bristol and Gloucester than Cornwall, it is difficult but if no one wants to travel out of there area its not my fault...I travel at least 100 mile each end of the country, and I am in the middle really. Never said no one could not arrange there own meets in there areas which Cornwall have done and Gloucester have too. But, if any one feels that they want to do the job as SW REO and have the head ache I get trying my best, feel free to mention it... I stepped in cos my mate Anna wanted me to BTW not cos I asked to do it
  20. Oh no one care to discuss this with my b4 deciding?
  21. Need bigger wheels n tyres, I use 18" wheels with 265/35/18 and my speedo perfect ;)
  22. What size are your wheels n tyres? that would make it out...
  23. Got mine back today, very pleased with it. When its stops raining and I get chance to fit the brake light will take some pics ;)
