When I fitted a new head unit the ISO to Nissan connector had an earth cable but the Nissan wiring loom didn't. The old unit had a separate earth connected to the casing. It did not work without it. Your old unit may have been getting an earth from the aerial cable..... Phil

3rd vote for a Tdi. I use a 110 Passat Tdi as a daily driver (25K miles year). You can have them chipped for an extra 30BHP with very little difference in fuel economy. 130 Tdi can be had for less than 10K now. Phil

Bought a Mongoose system from Luke at the Z Centre. Had it fitted by a local garage for next to nothing. Looks good and sounds great. Phil
