  1. If you buy US dials you will have to do the resister mod to the speedo clock PCB as the US dials only go to 160mph & your speedo will be wrong otherwise. Also, if you just swap for UK cluster, you will not remove the 115mph limiter. That would need an ECU chip swap too.
  2. Hi Old Zed, thanks for the info. You wouldn't know how it should be wired up do you? Ta.
  3. Hi guys, Does anyone out there recognise this speedo convertor? It has six wire coming from it: Red Black Green Orange Yellow Blue It has come from a Zed but with no info regarding how it was wired up. I'm hoping it's one that somebody out there has seen before. Ta, Graham.

  14. Series 2 cluster will not fit in a series 1 car 'cos the plugs are different. However, the actual clocks are the same. (Unlike series 4 clocks  )

It's only that one small block that's crooked. The rest of it is a standard main road.

  21. Received this response from R Wilde (autoparc) too. :xxx: :xxx: At least it was cheap! Winning bid: £1,170.00
  22. Jusy get a wire and connect it from the metal of the radio case to the cars chassiswork. Where was the old wire connected? The unit should normally ground through the metal frame. ie. radio screwed to frame and frame screwed to chassis. I guess some radios isolate the units chassis.
  23. Check fuse. Are you trying it with the ignition on?
