took the zed out for her first run on saftey boost yesterday. just done 200 miles to bed the new tub in with no boost,things went ok at first,only did a few short blasts and then a few 0-100 runs :) . decided to up the boost a tad,so a fiddle with the boost controller and then the dreaded hisssssssssss :rolleyes: . had already checked all clamps and hoses as had the same prob before engine out and recon tubs fitted :headvswal . looks like i will have to knock up a boost leak detector,what a bloody pain in the arse :headvswal . is there any other pipes that i might have missed??????,wood it leak from the balance bar????? as took that off to do a compression test and to get to the back 2 coil packs and plugs. oh and now it hisses on saftey boost,sounds like its comin from the drivers side and is the same place before the engine came out,all the clips were replaced too. any help wood be great guys :) . cheers garry

dont u just love the constant pull of an auto and notice the boost gauge doesnt even drop :dance: . not been able to open mine up yet as runnin a new tub in :rolleyes: . takin it to thor racing soon and i will do a 0-100 on my phone (race track) :x: . my mods are only modrate. apexi induction lightened underpully andyp chip colder plugs de-cat and devorced down pipes boost controller (will be running 1 bar) apexi megaphone exhausts (middle boxes cut out)BLOODY LOUD :wack: . autobox additives,has anyone used them and do they work????????????????. had the oil changed to standard oil and new filtre,wood have liked to put redline in but was just to costly for 7ltrs at £15 a litre :rolleyes: . so is there any additives out there which will help prolong the auto box??????. cheers garry

i love my auto and wont ever change it :) . after 15yrs of trucking and the millions of gear changes ive done, havin an auto is just pure heaven. oh and if i want a burn around i just jump in the mrs skyline :tongue: . best of both worlds i think so im a happy bunny :dance: . cheers garry

saw a gunmetal grey zed,think it was a jap spec at 11.15am this morn i was the nutter in the skyline in the middle of the road over taking anything and everythink in my path SO DIDNT GET A GOOD LOOK :) . CHEERS GARRY
