yeah all connectors have been checked and al have sparks i beleive, ill get him to check the PTU tommorow

Is he about much? ill phone the dealer back in the morning and tell him it could effect any ammount of cylinders on either side. As ive just got off the phone suggesting the PTU i dont wanna phone ihm back straight away, so ill give him a bell in the morning

Ok just got off the phone from that guy. aprently he thought about the PTU but he said somthing about he didnt know if that effects all cylinders? or both sides? I dunno what hes on about presumably the 2 cylinders which are out are different sides of the engine ? Hes trying to get in touch with some guy in norwich who is aprently quite knoledgable in 300's and he can also get the parts off him.. But i didnt fully understand what he was talking about with the PTU

Sorry, whats the PTU? Its a dealer in norwich called WCS Repairs, he sells jap imports. he doesnt have a conzult so i guess thats why he hasnt ran it

quick change of subject but how long is it they have to send the ticket out ? 14 days? i thought i may of got caught a week and a half ago but not had a letter yet, will be 2 weeks on sunday

Just got off the phone from the dealer, reckons its not firing on 2 cylinders, says its not coil packs or whatever they are, theres a spark etc, he reckons next step is injectors? which means taking manifolds off etc bit of a job? he hasnt hooked it to a conzult but reckons that wont tell you much anyway, theres no engine warning lights on or anything so he doubts it will tell him much. has bassicly told me hes gonna look into the injectors and get back to me... mean while im ****ed for a car as its my only car

Mine was being towed on a flatbed in the dark? dont think somone saw it and assumed ? :)

im in norwich, but mines silver, and also at the garage with a misfiring problem

took car back to dealer as still under warranty, phoned me bout 30 mins ago sayin hes cleaned all the connectors but its still not fixed it so hes going to look further tomorow, i still think its a coil thingy

Ok also what i forgot to add was that the same problem occured this morning on the way to work, however it fixed itself after bout 5 mile of driving then went fine, I go to leave off work and the problems back. I wouldnt know where to find the connectors to the coils and the injectors, i really am a newB, obviously its one of the wires thats connected to the cylinder?

Left off tonight from work and 5 miles down the road i had to get greenflag to come and rescue me My NA was misfiring and bassicly i lost most power, kept nearly stalling it, it sounded like a diesel or a moped or somthing. I think i could smell some burning to but not sure, and i was going through quite a bit of petrol. The greenflag fella said with the burning smell it could be a coil on one of the cylinders? (im a engine newB) or somthing as simple as a spark plug. gonna have to get it looked at tommorow but any ideas? does this sound about right? also how much £££ would i be looking at ?

The vans, What sort of distance do they detect you at? Was coming home this arvo down the A11, turned round a bend and saw one of the lil gits on a flyover bridge, he was a fair distance away i was doing bout 85 and anchored on down to 70 soon as i saw him, there was also a car infront of me at the time. Dont know if he would of got me?
