Thank's for that Ian, and if you need any help then give me a shout. Don't be put off by what you have paid for the zed, i only paid £1,700 for mine two and a half years ago and it has never put a foot wrong.

hello ian and welcome, dont be put off by what you read on here, if anything it should encourage you, dont forget these are cars that are getting on for twenty years old now. why is that then mate, I must admit I have never used one on my zed but have used them all the time on other motor's with great success.

try a balljoint splitter. put pressure on the balljoint with splitter and then get two hammers and hit both sides of the balljoint at the same time,that always works.
