you are quite right and there are no argyments. I'm far from bitter. just don't understand the logic. I have a 105e and know that getting bits is through a club mostly. As these become rare I feel you would look back and think it would have been better to let the club see these items first. I'm no trader. If I were capitalizing off the forum by regularly trading I could understand this. last youl here of it.

20 quid to subscribe and advertise some Z stuff that you guys would appreciate. an ebay flick fee is pennies. I have a few cars and are a member of few forums and have never been or seen this before OH well looks like they will have to visit another web site instead of yours to tune into some goods to keep your beloved Zeds running

silly question
Hi folks using the z32 power train in a ford anglia so don't have zx experience. looking to buy a new oil cooler to fit in the space I've got available and prsume it's a case of connecting the two hoses from the oil filter housing to an oil cooler as the supply and return. trouble is the new radiator I have purchased has two small connections mid way up on passenger side which I'm told are for the oil cooler. does this mean the oil cooler is cooled by engine coolant or should I blank them off and stick to the air cooled method many thanks Paul

clutch recomendations on ebay
could someobody on here make this ito a poll where you can submit a vote to say where you got a certain clutch and how you rate it. off course it's not truely scientific as people could vote without actual experience but you have to give benefit of doubt. personally I agree with some of the comments on here. The UKs a rich country but we are certainly exploited with tax after tax etc here. anyhow backto the clutch isse else this thread will get out of hand. if you can make a poll or submit a reply with a comment on a clutch you have bought please do. all the best Paul

clutch recomendations on ebay
thanks for the comments folks it does make for an interesting read. please don't think I'm trying to penny pinch or start arguments but as previous automotive engineer I fail to see how a clutch mechanism can cost more than a brand new motor bike. yes there are mass produced but the hours to build materials etc etc just don't seem to compare with a straight forward clutch with stiffer pressure plate. the last comment is of most interest. I wonder just how many have boought one of those clutches and are not too embarresssed to say it did not work out. check this one out from the states. they claim it can hold 480bhp http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F1-STAGE-2-CLUTCH-FLYWHEEL-90-96-300ZX-TWIN-TURBO_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ005QQitemZ150165050410QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW I've posted on american zx forum to try and get those horses mouth responses as I think it would be good for all.

how often
how often do engine sensors such as the following list pack in or become problematic. knock sensor power transistor unit throttle positions sensor crank angle sensor and MAF's it seems they go for silly money on ebay for what are effectively 17 year old cars. with no gurantee's on any of these such parts I wonder how robust they are or are people just greedy? it's a bit of a moan but having restored a number of old cars the prices are a bit out of hand I feel for this model. (z32 TT)

clutch recomendations on ebay
I'm looking to buy a new clutch for a z32 tt. the engine is standard at moment but boost will be raised to about 14 psi max so will produce a little more than standard horsepower. I have spooted these on ebay and wonder if anyone on the forum has had any experience of them etc. cheers Paul http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Clutch-Masters-89-96-Nissan-300ZX-TT-Clutchmasters_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ011QQitemZ320156255488QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Southbend-300ZX-DXD-Clutch-Rally-Series-TT-433-TQ-Cap_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33730QQihZ009QQitemZ190126220016QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-Z32-300ZX-TURBO-1-90-12-94-CLUTCH-KIT_W0QQitemZ120162896638QQihZ002QQcategoryZ10402QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

maxima engine sensors
are any of the nissan v6 engine sensors compatible with the 300zx? if so which ones wouldn't mind a replacement ptu or a kock sensor if they are cheap to pick up. seems zx breakers these days want a lot of money of what are quite old components now. just my feelings

north yorkshire help
Wow I'm bowled over by such efforts and have made an effort to rest loom over engine and see where bits go when I noticed my 1st glitch. on the coil pack connectors there is only two which have number bands around them to what I logically think is the relevant cylinder order. Can anyone quickly tell me if it is crucial theses connect to the right cylinder for firing order as I'm aware some modern ecu systems run a wasted spark system. I don't personally think they would run this system as it means many other cylinders are getting spark thats not needed but you never know. cheers Paul
