Ebay tip - item title is extremely important; most people search by keyword so include as many relevant words as you can. Although your title is correct for the item it is pretty short, add a few more relevant words ;) The words "no reserve"- although they might attact someones eyes to it are pretty meaningless when you have a decent sized starting price anyway. Plus it uses up valuable searchable keyword space. Another tip, especially for expensive items - it only costs 15p to have a subtitle, which appears on peoples screens in the search results. Use subtitles to convey more info to persuade the buyer to look at your item. I've heard of plenty of people making money buying and then selling off ebay. A good way to do it is by finding badly advertised items then buying them and selling with a better title and descriptions, and pictures. HTH Pete

  4. Its great in an auto
  5. Here here  The Mrs' Vectra 140SRi has traction control and I tell you you can power round a roundabout foot to the floor in the pissing rain in first gear quick as fook  Then keep the power down off it and you're away  More fun than pussyfooting around it ;) FWD is obviously as little easier to do this but NO WAY could I imagine a zed keeping up with it in the wet in these situations I agree traction control is pointless in a straight line though.
  6. Is that a zed?? Cant even tell  Nasty!!
  7. Bet the Skyline was quicker though ;) Why not disable the power steering too lol
  8. My point exactly Dave (shut it Andy ;) )
  9. How many times do you hear people raving about the cons of driving aids. "Ooh I prefer the raw driving of TVRs etc, no ABS to interfere, blah blah..." Get over yourself! :slap: I am no Michael Schumacher and I'm sure most people arent  Why do people try to brag by complaining about driving aids? It must be cool to not need driving aids. Apologies to those who are really good at balls out driving on the limit, on the public roads ;) God ABS must really get in your way. I dread to think how you are supposed to drift sideways up the motorway slip road with Stability Control activated  Any thoughts? All in the name of a fun debate of course ;) Cheers Pete

Struggling to get the idle correct. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is my set up. SS Exhaust, DoolZ induction with 2 A'PEXi filters, 555cc injectors, Forged Pistons, Lightened pulley. New ECU chip set for 555cc and dual air intake. I have just finished a rebuild, the engine runs great but I cant get the idle right. The timing is correct and everything is connect correctly and the ECU check gives no error. No matter what I try I can not get the idle to its correct setting. Its hovers around the 550-600rpm mark. Reving the engine is great, very smooth and responsive. The idle screw does nothing no matter which way I turn it. I am begining to wonder whether the chip is set up for Dual POP. If I cover the filter with the dummy MAS the revs pick up. If I cover the MAS with the real MAS the engine stalls which is expected. Does that sound correct to you? Would a chip set up for a single POP be able to actually run a Z with a dual POP. If it is not the chip, any ideas on how to make my idle a little higher. Thanks Stuart
