You could check the voltage across the injectors, IIRC you can do this at the ECU, John Dixon did it on mine.

Its like a multi-layered padded plastic with a clear top layer, I used a stanley knife to work through it. Only took a few mins TBH.The sticky side is incredibly sticky lol
