  1. I'll be there first thing, in the queue for 9am Wouldn't it be great to have a big block of zeds at the front of the queue
  2. Hehe Steve they should be well trained at squinting at small objects in the distance ;)
  3. Nice one thanks Ryan, I will sort something out with you  Disgraceful about the butties though :slap::D Cheers James, will have a tinker :) Just went and had a 4 wheel alignment done (FAO TonyC - Oak Tyres are v good), only charged me £18 as the rears didnt need touching. However the fronts were toeing out which explains the wandering around. Sorted out and now the car feels much tighter at speed. Cheers Pete
  4. Oh yeah - Engine ECU and Autobox ECU diagnostics both showed all clear
  5. Afternoon, Bit pissed off with the zed today, I have a short list of things that needs doing/fixing, and I know each one of them would put off a buyer. And I really do need the moeny now... Advice would be great cheers :hyper: Still got the dead speedo/occ heavy steering/power&hicas light on/occ funny gearchanges when damp. I presumed this was the speed sensor connections at first but the SS itself is quite new, a couple of years and I've had a play with the wiring (visual) and cleaned up the connector on it but no change. I'm reluctant to buy a new one or a set of UK clocks unless I know it'll fix it ;) Next - I get bad brake judder (through the steering wheel - it jumps left and right) at v high speeds, like 80+, lower speeds are fine. Could this simply be a tracking issue? Might be related - the car sometimes feels a little... wandery at high speeds which is unsettling  Recently when flooring it the boost is slow to rise, much slower than before. Acceleration is too smooth and the brutal kick has gone. Peak boost is still the same but just slow to react. Also my stock boost gauge sometimes sticks on -7 for a few mins on start-up, where is the stock sender? I'd probably accept 4k right now for the car, which would be a massive shame, but costing me £200+ a month to insure makes five months of ownership cost a grand in insurance alone. ****ing RX8s. Thanks in advance Pete
  6. Jap zeds are originally given 225s all round so its possible you have Jap wheels or a tyre fitter got confused in the past.
  7. LOL This is one area where I agree with women. Flu is a relatively rare and v dangerous, sometimes fatal in old people/ babies, illness. Matty you have A COLD  I heard a saying about not going into your garden to retrieve a £50 note if you had flu, wonder if that covers getting up and posting on the forum ;) Cheers Dr Shrimp
  8. Had a great day at the Touring Cars at Donington on Sunday, thought I'd post a few pics. Managed to sneak into the pits an onto the start/finish straight at the end and mingle with the stars ;) I reluctantly agreed to let TV's Mike Brewer have a photo with me ;) To all those VBH lovers ;) She dont look too good from this angle :D

Hi mate For that spec your are best off importing, people dont tend to sell when they've got one :p Re my engine mods, yep induction, exhaust, de-cat, and the boost is running at 12.5psi. Also have an ALC which makes gearshifts punchier. There are a few vids of 1/4 mile runs from inside my car linked in my signature  Will be putting her back up for sale when a few niggles are sorted out ;) Cheers Pete
  10. Just admiring a pic I've taken with the new front numberplate on :D Matty - lets see yours and compare ;) To anyone else reading - assuming its not my temporary bonnet being slightly out, whats the best way to sort the unsightly gap above the headlight? :( Can the position be adjusted or will a few washers between the bolts shift the unit? Cheers Pete
