ok i may stay as is then! after some digging came across this: This would be a ideal item to replace once every 7 years as the diaphram inside has a tendancy to get stuck on old units. How can you check if yours been changed out or not? Well a good hint is that the factory ones that came out from Nissan were originally paint flat black, so if you have a black one, its the VERY old version that is more then 12+ years old!! dan.:biggrin:

fitted pcv valves today,:thumbup: went to fit johns new stereo but no sound from any speakers! not even a crackle out from any speakers any ideas please? (tried the stereo in my car and works fine!) dan.:wacko:

just fitted a genuine nissan timing belt and it was a pig to get all the marks on the sprockets and the belt in line with those on the back plate! but the marks on the sprockets matched up with the marks on the belt so should be good. dan.:thumbup1:

yeah was going to but couldnt track down a na pump so going to have to use the tt set up for the moment,the pump i got has the hicas part removed but the tt pas pot will now need to be blanked on one of the out pipes!:hammer: think i seen someone on ere do it. dan.:cool3:

i went to install the na pas pot to the tt pump and the hoses are different sizes!!!! the na pot needs a hose around 15mm and the tt pump has a 20mm hose! is the na pump hose to na pas pot the same size? dan.:huh:

mines been off the road since october and have been busy removed the hicas and aircon at the mo fitting new wireing loom, nismo 555cc injectors, ecu,timing belt,loads of powdercoated stuff, s.s.split down pipes and japspeed decatts, Z1 hoses and water pipes, some polished bits and bobs white dials,99spec front bumper,flat nose panel tinted rear lights and centre panel and some other bits not arrived yet!;) dan.:cool3:

hairdryer to remove the sticker and some wd40 to remove any residue works a treat. dan.:cool3:

bet you can add about £20 to that total once its over here! give it a week or two! dan.:cool3:
