  3. the kit in the pictue is not just carbon fibre stickers it is layered with epoxy resin this is difficult stuff to work with and gives it a great finish the cutting out is easy and cheap the resin part is the skill ie no dust no condensation the list is endless

  5. I tried quite a few induction kits on my last TT and tbh becuase of where the air filter is situated you cant even hear anything

  7. looking everywhere else the best price would have been minus the VAT anywhere else charges probably could have saved 30-50 quid on said items better than a kick in the teeth i suppose

  11. ok this is proving fun I checked all the fuel pipes on saturday with throttle cover off nothing seems to be leaking it does smell above the passenger side regulator but problem is you cant see FA with how crammed it is Ill put some talc on it to try but when I put it in the garage last night it temp gauge fine but I could swear I had a bit of a burning smell from engine NOW this morning it appears to be running on 5 cylinders no sign of mechanical failure so its looking electrical take it i check the coil packs first then what ? it also Ive put 35 quid in its back on empty almost and has done around 40 miles :eek: shall I do the ecu check myself later or just get a auto elec to plug a diagnostics in ta chris

  14. My girlfriend works for a Nissan garage and they dont even service the cars they just tell you they have then ask you for the $$ so good luck dude although I appreciate theyd have to replace a belt it would be a bit obvious cant you do it yourself?

  16. found it beneath a load of other things shall have to do it later in the garage putting the AC on doesnt seem to make the revs rise as its ticking over at 1500rpm anyway
  17. hi in my last Series 2 Z it had the Bose system as far as I remember it sounded pretty good Ive just took the centre dash out and previous aftermarket unit as only one speaker was working and i have a DVD head unit to fit :eek: every wire has been chopped apart from the power plug wires and two cut and shut wires to the drivers door speaker.. is it worth me wiring up all the centre BOSE thing again?? ta chris
  18. from memory yes but I can go and check where is the FICD would that make it almost stall in drive

  20. Dan I used to be insured with all my Performance Cars using Adrian Flux You used to feel like you were talking to enthusiasts etc and they would come back with a good deal! Not no more I think there employing a load of couldnt care less girls who havent a Clue.. MoneySupermarket out of all of them were the specialists and they dont even advertise the fact chris
  21. hi cleaned all connectors etc etc taking to be plugged in on the weekend car 5 times out of ten stalls when put into drive you can just keep it going but it surges forward as you have to rev it drives lovely when moving but when in Neutral only it ticks over at 2k rpm? its not a sticking throttle etc etc ta chris
  22. phoned all the specialists but as I want my g/f on it and shes 21 she doubles the price been quoted 1500 quid on average went on moneysupermarket put my dad on aswell £1000 well happy in future ill leave the specialists infact I remember last time out of all of them I ended up with elephant its all BS if you ask me chris :nana2:
