Was chatting to a friend from this site last night and i had a brain wave, (rare for me), There must be loads of folks on here that enjoy a good curry, does anyone in the south east ( sorry rest of the country) fancy meeting up for a curry and have a mini zed curry meet, havent got a clue of where or when, as they would need a decent car park, and enough space to fit a few bods in, any views or ideas of where it could be held, or intrest?????? Also in the last week have met 3 other zed owners who did not know about the site, all have details, and drove past a house yesterday that has 3 zeds in his garden, in Worthing. Knocked on the door, but no reply, will pursue that one too.

On a local road near to my house, this week the following has happend. Monday drive along in plumbing van, as have done for years, 60mph limit. Not speeding, notice workmen digging in centre of carriageway. Tuesday, Same route same speed, new 50mph signs and brand new shiney grey box with yellow on the back, now where men had been digging day before. FLASH FLASH. Got the van. B***tards, i thought, didnt see that. Wednesday, same route, this time at new speed of 50mph, watched loads of cars getting flashed, as they all still think 60mph. Thursday again same route, this time, the new shiney grey box flashy thing, that was the day before, is now learnng over like a palm tree in a hurricane, and seems to have been visited by Mr Sledge hammer and his best mate petrol. It is totally fooked. Made the front page of the local paper. A big thankyou to the vandals on this occasion, as anything that was inside is now destroyed. Im not supporting the vandals, as i agree that the cameras work well in certain places, but changing the speed limit and putting a camera in overnight, just aint nice.

Slough isnt that bad, Staines is worse, will have plenty of chav's to race though.

I have DVD decrypter, but they have been closed down, does anyone else have a good dvd copying site, that can bypass the copy protection on dvd's so they can be burnt, its just that i want to copy some holiday dvd's that are copy protected, if you know what i mean.

Have just chatted with my cousin who is a computer programmer, wondered why he hadnt been online for a while. There is a real nasty virus going around. You might receive an email stating 'Invitation' only, nothing else. if you open it, bye bye computer. It got through all his firewalls, AVG etc. destroyed his entire hard drive. If you get one like this, from an unknown source DO NOT OPEN it, just delete straight away. This might be old news to some, but its still very much around. Stu

The first one for me not zed related, when i was 18, i had a lotus sunbeam, drove to my new job in a suit, pulled into the carpark and found a space, slipped on the accelrator, and took out a conncrete bollard that was stopping you from falling over a 3ft wall. with the front wheels now over the wall and 3ft lower, the rear wheels were off the ground, (rear wheel drive) so i put a trolley jack under the engine onto the subframe to try and level the rear wheels, whilst jacking a bit more, the jack slipped and went straight through the bottom of the sump. So now coverd in oil in my suit, the car was still stuck, and the jack was wedged in big time. I didnt work there very long. 2nd Was rebuilding my old rover 220 trubo engine, and draining the petrol tank, so with engine bits everywhere, and 2-3 ice cream tubs of petrol, i began working on the rebuild. Unfortunatly i smoke, dropped the fag into one of the the tubs, all of them went up, within seconds, the engine hoses had also caught fire, this then crept towards my fence and a big green conifer (next doors). WHOOSH everything was now well on fire, i had to run to get the garden hose, but forgot i had cut the end with the tap connector to drain the fuel. A few minutes later the fire brigade arrived, and put out the hedge, fence and the engine. I must stop working on bloody cars. I feel sometimes like the guy in the Kenny Everett Show, Reg Prescott DIY fan. lol
