  1. I only had the GTO for two day's, I really wanted the Z but the GTO was the new shape and it was a good deal. Still took it back and got a Z instead, I've got a soft spot for Zs. Four years of Zs and I still like them.
  2. I bought a GTO just before my first Z. More sure footed then the Z but when the suspension is played with on the Z it’s a better drive. The Z seems a bit faster to me.
  3. happy birthday mate. :duffer: :D
  4. I’ve got a stiff one now (suspension that is) and it’s handles the corners much better than the stock suspension.
  5. That's the one.http://www.bdtrims.com/dash-kits.php?section=product&id=971&cat=UK&year=1991&make=Nissan&model=300ZX
  6. I got the gauges from Paul SWZ.http://www.swzparts.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=97&osCsid=32279fd4834bc1b1629ff51d91ee50de
  7. It is the one the Z centre sells. :D
  8. Not sure what you can get for £200 but like Sony stuff. I use a Sony camera for part of my job. I've got an old Sony camcorder and it's pretty good.
  9. We have been off the road too long, time to get back on for the summer. :D
  10. Got my gauges, dial rings and trim kit in. :D
  11. Me to, PCVs and Koyo rad. Back on the road soon.
  12. Luke's a canny bloke, I ordered a three slot gauge holder and waited a few day's and no reply to my e-mails. I've got it now but it took about five day's. I'm still waiting for my Koyo, you will get your stuff no prob they must be busy.
  13. I know mate I've still got some probs on mine and it's only got 57k miles on it.
  14. You would think so bud but it didn’t on mine, instead of the pipe been over the lip it was just sitting on the front of the pipes. The clip was their so it looked like it was on but it wasn’t. Well that’s what it was on mine, I’m still learning about all this stuff so I’m no expert. Just hope what I found might help someone one day and it's something to rule out instead of spending loads of money for nothing. :D
  15. Andy's right on this one, that’s the same thing my car was doing and I changed the plugs did a full service, timing belt the full works. It came down to a pipe on the turbo was loose. I just put it on properly and the car was spot on.
  16. Metallic grey Z in Sunderland on the Durham Road heading towards A19 at 6.30 yesterday.
  17. My Brothers into all this kind of stuff, he showed me this and I was totally amazed. Something to do with the government he reckons and it must be unmanned at that speed.
  18. I used 2000 wet and dry (wet) to sand the scratches out, then I used T-cut to shine it up again.
  19. Happy Birthday bud :D :duffer: :duffer:
  20. It's a good job I got new senders with all my new gauges. Every day's a school day on here. :D
  21. I asked the same question and someone said it was the gauges, same with water temp.
  22. I'm sick of this too, I took my car in for some new tyres on the front and they used a screw driver to remove the centre caps and put dents in my alloy's. I try to do all the work on my car now but there are some jobs you just can't do.
  23. It’s probably a newer version of the one you have, It still looks like good gear though.
  24. Cool.... I'd like to know about that when you find out.
