  1. Mine sometimes struggles to sit at 30 in 4th, I had put it down to having a lightened fly wheel i.e. no inertia to keep the engine spinning properly at low revs.
  2. I've always looked up to my dad and I am now almost the spitting image of him when he was my age, thank god he is really skinny now so at least I have that to look forward to!
  3. Great idea for a thread but I must admit that Jeff's post is very funny!
  4. Smack it arse and stick it on the plate and I am good to go! My favorite cut is filet and to share would be chateaubriand.
  5. And how old I will be on the 9th of this month, so hopefully it can only get better from here!!
  6. Any day that suits you is good for me!
  7. Detailing is not my forte, my knees are in agony and my back is killing me and the car still looks shite!
  8. 8.30 in the morning! When you say Musselburgh services I take you mean the one at the end of the bypass? So who's all going me ,you and? Think I have managed to palm the girls of as I didn't realise it was going to be such a long day!
  9. There has been some debate about using Tesco fuel on here before! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109714&highlight=tesco+fuel
  10. Should be ok I drove my one round for over a year before I finally remove the whole system. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=134636&highlight=aiv+removal
  11. That will be the AIV, if you look at the exhaust just behind the front wheel you can see where the rubber hose comes of it goes up under the wheel arch and connects to a small canister. The canisters fill up with condensation which gives the bubbling sound, the connection on the canister breaks and this is what causes the exhaust blowing sound.
  12. Are you sure it's coming from the exhaust and not the AIV system which runs from the exhaust to under the front wings?
  13. Good luck mate it will be the best day of your married life, all down hill from here!!
  14. Let me know what day and I will come, if it's the Sunday I will bring the girls.
  15. If it won't rev above 2500 could be the MAF!
  16. Beg all you like, I can't rmember the last time I seen yours move
  17. It all comes down to exclusivity. If you have a common colour then it is going to be slow due to it being common! If you have a rare colour it is going to be much faster due to its exclusivity!!!!
  18. I also have a blue one and I can confrim that Green is faster than blue:clap:
  19. My green one was by far the fastest car on the way home last night :whistling:
  20. Yes that's what was happening to me
  21. I am having a problem posting on the subscribed forum, I have checked and my subs are up to date. Can someone help with this as I was hoping to put up a for sale add?
  22. When I looked back through the threads it looked to me as though there was a fair amount of interest! I try to make every effort to attend as many meets as possible and do realise that not everybody can attend every one but I would expect the person arranging an event or meet to be able to make it. Mikey this is not intended to offend but I thought I would like to defend my previous comment.
  23. Ok then count me out if you can't be arsed!!
