  2. sounds around about right if you dont know them, if you were meaning mates rates then you would probably get it done for about £200ish.
  3. i've got 275's on, no probs with any rubbing, depends also on offset and j size of wheel.
  4. same for me, nice and easy, also as already mentioned, you do run the power cables separate to the rca and speaker cables, otherwise you get engine noise through your speakers and clicks when your indicators are on and amped up, its not nice, Good luck with the install fella ;)
  5. yeah you have to make sure you dont adjust the rolling radius too much, otherwise you will changing the way the car is geared and also your speedometer will not read correctly, As you have already found out on 17" there is only a certain size you can go upto unless you buy specialist tyres, if you go to 255/265 on rear then your profile should be at 40%, on the fronts you can go 225 or 235 and stick to 45%, this will keep everything within tolerance.
  6. make your own mind up jaffa, your always going to get a difference in opinion on these forums, there is no right and wrong, just personal judgment, but both of those tyres are released as budget tyres, just like the old toyo proxes t1s, which has now been replaced by the px4, and are equally good for budgets. and good year f1's are nothing to be compared to.
  7. hankooks and falkens are both budget tyres and from my experience are ok for all round driving but you cant push them, wet or dry, i've been in the trade for 11 years now and if you want to use your car to its full potential, then you need to get decent boots on your car.
  8. so to conclude they ARE ILLEGAL, but they look cool and work better than the O/E ones, PEACE :D
  9. yeah cops are Sh!t, 99% are idiots, the other 1% are still training
  10. the way the law stands on these are that you need to have auto leveling and washers on your lights if you have hid's fitted, we have recently been through all this at work, i have them fitted on my Z, and i'm more than happy with the extra vision, also passed mot no probs.

  17. ive used that repair stuff on lots of cars, works a treat, just take your time with it. ;)
  18. if your havin trouble getting the sticoflex off the boot, you can get a little rubber wheel that fits on your drill called a CARAMAC Wheel, it makes the job real easy, and the wheel smells really nice, lol. i fit bodykits and turbo upgrades for a living so let me know if you need anythin else fella.
