  3. There is no guarantees in house buying until contracts are exchanged that im aware of.
  4. As owner and driver of both Zed and American muscle the two cant really be compared. They couldnt be more different if they tried!! In a land where roundabouts are practically unheard of, straights are plentyful and most corners have a stop sign, who needs cornering ability?? I drive both zeds and my 6.6 firebird and enjoy them equally.
  5. Amazon.co.uk......... Link
  6. Sky has played a dirty trick I think. It knows Virgin wont take there channels away from sky because Virgin will lose loads in advertising revenue. I would much rather hand my hard earned ££££ to Branson than Murdoch any day! Imagine if Sky had the complete monopoly??? You would sit around watching nothing but repeats all day. Sky can stick there channels up there a**e. I just watched the first 2 series of Red Dwawf on Virgins 'on demand' service.
  7. Nothing better than killing someone with a blowtorch on Battlefield 2 MC :D :D
  8. My bet is that he will step on the wrong toes one day and get shot. Not carrying a gun in that line of work over there is mad!!!
  9. Just fitted a new engine about 2000 miles ago with bigger turbo's, pistons, intercoolers and injectors and running it in on a 555 chip until i can get my aem ecu mapped up. Everything was running fine until last night when i broke down! The car would turn over but not start until it had cooled down then once warmed up again it would die. i noticed the wiring harness going to the knock sensor was damaged so i repaired it but the car still cuts out once warmed up. Any suggestions would be appreciated
  10. I am currently checking the market for some 555 Nismo injectors. I am sure i saw somewhere a thread RE injector coloures. ie yellow/ blue etc. I have done a search but cant find the thread. Can anybody find me a link or have i had too much to drink again?? Cheers Steve
  11. well theres nothing behind the front bumper that needs 'maintaining' really so just make sure theres no crud lodged in the intercoolers or anything like that
  12. think ive cracked it, i took off every plug on the engine loom cleaned them and made sure they were making good contact, now it seems ok cheers for all the help Steve
  13. plenty of things mate. intercooler upgrade, header tank removal, access to oil cooler etc etc Steve
  14. oh yea, forgot this, the car runs like it should normally do when you first start it from cold at about 1200rpm then as soon as it gets a little warmer and the revs die down a bit it starts idling all over the shop, fluctuating between 500-2000rpm. any help would be great as this is starting to get to the point where i throw the towel in and break it  cheers Steve
  15. the car now has standard injectors and ecu fitted. the car isn't missfiring at idle only a little on pick up. when i changed the injectors back to standard i made sure that the o rings were seated correctly and undamaged. the injectors i refitted had a few of the plastic caps missing so i swapped them from some other ones , is this ok? help greatly appreciated cheers Steve:cool:
  16. right, just fixed det sensor and it still hasn't fixed the problem, it seems to be hammering fuel vapour smoke out of the o/s exhaust too. could theese symptoms result from a leaking injector? cheers Steve
  17. cheers for that guys, i have tried a new ecu which didn't cure it. carried out the flash fault test last night and it flagged up det sensor fault, did some oinvestigation and found knock sensor wire snapped so im going to fix that and see if it cures it Cheers Steve

how do you set up the tps? and where is the idle control valve located? cheers Steve
  19. nice one sorry about not putting it in the right place to start with, cheers Steve
  20. i have just fitted a new engine into my zed that has tomi race pistons etc, i was having trouble with it flooding with 555 injectors in as it hadnt been mapped, i refitted standard injectors and it started fine but it idles very irratically and sometimes cuts out when i rev it. I have tried changing the tps, cleaning injector and coil pack connectors (including the temp sensor) and changing the maf sensor but all of which have no effect. The only thing that makes it any better is if i pull off a small vacuum pipe on the n/s of the engine, about half way between the front and back but this causes it to idle very high but smoothly. Any help greatly appreciated as i am dying to get my baby back on the road. Regards Steve:cool:
  21. Cheers for the replies. I will try and arrange a testdrive.........
  22. 4k would be right at the top end of my budget so will keep my fingers crossed. Cheers
