I have seen in the past, a few people have had this problem. How easy is it to sort? Gonna try and do a home job as my dad is good at that sort of thing and can't afford to get it done professionaly. Any tips or pointer would be appreciated. The main thing im worried about is finding a close enough paint colour match. Its a pearl white but dont have a paint code as it has been resprayed. Not sure if its a nissan pearl or not either.

If the games consol has'nt go an RCA output, you can always play it through the aux input of the VCR or DVD recorder. That way if you have got a few games consols you wont need to connect all of them up to the amp, you just need to connect the RCA's on VCR or DVD recorder.

Made a few queries now. Have found a place who says he'll do it for bout £120. It was recommended by someone at work whos husband is in the motor trade and is fussy bout his motor !!

Thanks for that mate, i'll have to start looking around. Prob is our car was'nt pearl originally, it was originally a dark mettalic gray/ gun metal colour. As for the neighbours, the the type who don't care. They never clean their cars or anything. They buy a car, drive it into the ground and then buy another! Don't know if i should have a word with the guy or not. I may loose my temper with him. Last night i ended up going for like a two hour walk to let off steam, i was fuming !! I just get so despondant spending all that time and effort on the car for somebody to just come along and undo asll my hard work !!

Right, a few questions for anyone who may know. How much is a Jap spec front bumper (roughly) and how much would it be to get sprayed ( also just a rough idea ). Also does anyone know the paint code for jap pearl white or where i could get it from? Our idiot neighbours keep reversing into our car. 3-4 times in the last month now ! Cheers all.

Just phoned RAC. They have given me an adress to write to. I have to send pics etc to the tool comapny that makes the jack for them and go from there. Luckily as you say there was no one under the car and we had another jack right there so managed to get the car jacked up before any great damage was caused. Don't really mind if i get nothing but the money i paid for the jack. I dont want another one if its just gonna do the same

Just not sure i can justify the expense for the amount i'd use it, nice bit of kit though!

We did have axle stands under the car but we where in the process of taking the stands out to let down the car so we could then do the front of the car. It is one of those Argos type jacks but my dad has had a similar one he bought back in south africa bout 15 years ago and has never given us any probs!! Will be contacting the number on the book that came with the jack and asking them for some sort of refund or something as i dont want another one if its just gonna do the same thing.

As some of you i was talking to yesterday probably know i was planning to underseal the car today. Was all going well with the petrol tank and rear archers etc done and were jacing up car a littleand took wheel stand out when i hear a really loud hissing noise and the jack is pissing fluid out and the car sinking down. Luckily we managed to get other jack under car in time to stop any great damage. One little dent from jack handle just infront of rear arch and have cleaned off all the fluid that pissed all over paint work . So just a friendly bit of advice, if anyone is looking at buying a jack i'd advice against getting an RAC one. I'm not happy !!! Have used other 2 tonne trolley jacks before on zed with no prob and thought this jack would be ok as it had RAC on it and i would'nt expect them to put their name on just any cheap old piece of poo !!

Had a a great day yesterday with Athene and Hayley. Thanx Andy And Saz for putting everything together and all the other people involved. Was nice to see some old faces and good to meet some new people too. Hope the rest of the weekend goes just as well and all have a good time. Athene will more than likely put some pics i got up later.
