N/A versus TT
I am looking around for my first Z and have found what I think is a really nice N/A. From a performance point of view how does the N/A compare to a Twin T?

Fairlady Insurance
Thanks to everyone who replied to my previous thread. Everybody seems to be getting lots better quotes than me through the autotrader site, where I can only get insurance down to around £1000! I am using Fairlady as my model, is everybody else? It's just that lots of people have said Elephant and yet when I phoned them they told me they would not insure a Fairlady!! HELP ME!

300zx - Help wanted!!!
All, I am now really confused. You get a UK 300zx turbo or non-turbo The Japanese equivalent is a Fairlady? Is that right? Also, an insurer has just told me that the Fairlady is a Twin T and the UK is just a single Turbo? Does that mean that there is a UK Twin T as well as a UK single T? I just want to sort out my insurance and do not want to quote the wrong bloody car as I previously mentioned, a UK car 300zx Turbo will cost me around £350, whilst the cheapest I have got a Fairlady for is £850!!! HEEEELLLLLLLPPPPP all I want is a Zed!!!

300zx - Fairlady Z - Help I'm confused!!!
I am now in a position that I can get my first Zed  HOWEVER, I have shopped around for insurance quotes and now I am confused. If I put the car in as a 300zx Turbo Auto - I can get third party, fire and theft quotes for around the £350 mark (I am 31 with 9+years ncb) When I try and get a quote on a Fairlady Z (Jap import right?) the quote jumps up to in excess of £1000!!! Aren't these roughly the same bloody car!! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal Any advice on insurance would be good!!! Frustrated - Golddigga

UK versus Import
I am looking for some help as I am new to the world of the 300zx. I am looking to buy my first Z following taking a drive in my friends (Komarme) The trouble is looking around for insurance. I am 31 with full no claims and despite looking at only driving around 5000 miles per year policies are still coming out at £500+ Is there any advice on the best place to go for insurance? Also the UK vs import issue. Of all the insurance firms I have tried so far trying to insure a Jap Import puts around £200 on the premium  My friend assures me that the Jap models are better than the UK but does anybody out there with a UK model have a different view?
