£7,000 should get you a really good example. As for insurance I have been shopping around recently for my first Z, which is a Jap Import and the difference in insurance is about 25% HTH Chris.

Look through some of the old threads on the site, I am sure that some guy managed to get the passenger side turbo out without engine removal!

You can look up the tax on the DVLA website but from memory it is approx £94 for 6 months and £175 for 12. You should be able to get 3rd party fire and theft quotes as I have. Try Adrian Flux and tell them you are a member of this site.

Hi, I have found a nice looking Twin T on Autotrader based in Windsor. As Windsor is nearly 100 miles from me and I know sweet fa about the mechanics of any car is there anybody based there that knows Z's and would be willing to either take a look for me or come with me to take a look? I know it's a big ask but I travelled some distance this weekend to view a pile of shite. Also - the car in question has no service records because it is an 'import'?
