I locked the beast on the remote, put it in the garage, left it and the battery has died. Result - I am locked out and the remote won't work becuase there is no power. How do I get into the car? The key won't work in the door either because it is deadlocked. Nissan UK were very helpful - just break the window...ha, f'ing ha!! Any ideas???

okay guys..peter is refusing to return my calls..I have a beautiful but very sick car that is running on 4 cylinders (maybe)..has a rattle that sounds like the exhaust is about to fall off and had scratches on the bodywork that weren't there when the car went into nisstech.. all this after more than £3000 in peter's pocket..i am truly p*ssed off! who will take sympathy on me and just fix what needs fixing without ripping me off???

Guys, thanks for your help. I have managed to leave a message on Peter's phone. Hopefully he'll call me back. My Z is going nowhere until he comes to my place to fix it. After that, I'll be looking elsewhere for a reliable service!!!

Does anyone know what has happened to SE Nissan/ Nisstech in Maldon? Have they changed their phone number or moved? I have just spent over £3000 with them and my car is running like a dog....sh*t happens!

I know that as the car gets older the rubber bits around the windows and along the doors change from black to a kind of motley grey colour. Other than replacing all of these, anyone know how to get them black again? While I'm on the subject, my wiper arms have also lost a lot of the black colour. Now they're silvery/black mix. What can be done to get these black again?

No I'm not selling the Z! But I am thinking about importing a '98 R34 GT-T. It would cost about £10.5k on my drive. Any comments gratefully received. Does anyone know if it can be easily (cheaply!) tweaked and by whom? Anyone have one? Anyone got any performance data?
