  1. We've been working for quite long time making a couple of new products for the 300ZX: Rear bumper and rear bumper with diffuser. Both are currently designed for the 2+0 (swb) version only, but we already have a 2+2 (lwb) waiting for surgery ;) We're very happy on how things turned out after all the hard work we have put in this project...We are doing our best effort to make this products available in the US and Europe sooner than expected. In the US we got lots of dealers asking to sell our products, but now the search for a dealer in Europe starts, since we weren't lucky last time we tried...As you already know "someone" copied our front bumper (version 1) and is still selling it in Europe, so we are looking for honest dealers, specially since we will be making lots of new products soon after we ship these bumpers. Please guys, if you know of any respected dealer in Europe for our products let us know to this mail: thetwinzcustoms@gmail.com or reply to this thread. Pricing is not ready, until we contact all possible dealers, but we'll keep everyone updated once we have a price and list of dealers in Europe. Pics...
  2. I used to DD my white Z long time ago and always got everyone turning their heads while I was passing by and sometimes people even tell "Hey look!" to their friends just so they don't miss the show lol But, since I don't DD my Z anymore, it got a fresh new white paint, gunmetal painted wheels, jspec tails, lower eibach springs, blacked out roof, wingless, new bumpers and side skirts...Now everytime I take the Z for a ride is just more glorious, it just makes you feel like the king of the road just from looking at people's reaction and being the center of attention lol When my brother drives her, I follow him and DAMN!! The Z is just a piece of art...I know most of you don't let anyone else drive your Z, but I truely recommend you to let someone you thrust to drive your Z just slowly around town and just follow him from another car...You will fall in love all over again :D I share both of my Z's and the RX7 FD with my brother, so for me is very common to see one of my cars from outside in all angles while we both cruise around town :)
  3. Too bad to hear about the mods on that car. Anyway, it would be cool if someone has pics of the car, just to look :)
  4. Good luck guys!!! Make us proud!
  5. Sorry to hear, man! But we know you'll be back ;) Good luck on getting everything sorted out.
  6. lol...I knew you were talking about someone else ;) Seems like there are many guys running 530's on their Z's, so hopefully we will be seeing some UK HP numbers soon. I don't know how specialized are the tuners in UK about the Z32, so that definitely counts big time in favor of the US numbers I just showed.
  7. English is not my native language, so maybe I'm missing something...Are you refering to me as an idiot or are you talking about someone else?
  8. It's doable, but I think I made it sound as the usual power out of those turbos. People making high HP on them, usually have all the supportive mods like cams, built engine, ported heads, etc and obviously running race fuel. Here's a car making 573 RWHP and the mod list is HUGE, but it still have room for more like changing the downpipes and manifolds for a better option...The MS Manifolds and 3" expansion DP's would make a big difference on the whole powerband... http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2011752/Kudos-to-Specialty-Z---Greg-and-Seb-dyno-tuning-at-Vancouver.html Pics and mod list... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2418455 Anyway, I think you could look for 500+RWHP with the right mods and tune.
  9. I would recommend the JWT Sport 530BB's (or the similar option from Z1 called GT600R Turbo) as an all around turbos and those are the ones I will get for my Z. They have proven to be reliable and the spool up is just amazing. People in the US and Canada is making 580 RWHP with almost no lag on the 530BB's, but you have to keep in mind that it's not only about the turbos, but all the supporting mods that will get you to that power goal (MS Manifolds, 3" Expansion Down Pipes, 3" exhaust, etc)...A 10 second car, great power and response for the road course and fun on the street. Now, if you want to go big, I'll give my vote to the new SZ-EXP90 Turbo Kit from Specialty Z and you get a highway and drag monster...Greg Dupree is running 9.8's @ 150+mph (No NOS) at the strip on his first test runs on hot wheather, so you get the idea.
  10. I don't think you'll lose that long car effect on the 2+2 with just a shorter bumper, but you'll definitely have more muscle on the rear and also delete an old looking detail since no many cars have such long bumpers anymore as 2+2 Z's have (2+2 bumper protudes like an inch longer than on the 2+0 version). That's the idea...We're looking to improve the quality of our products even more than on our first front bumpers...Now we'll be using a brand new '99 jspec front bumper as main structure, so we can have the best fitment as possible. BTW, did you have any fitment issues with yours? I only got 2 cases of customers with fitment issues in the US and one of them told us that his Z had an accident that affected its driver fender, so we couldn't confirm if the bumper was the problem. We have had nothing but great comments from our customers and some of them are waiting to buy new products from us as soon as they are available in the US.
  11. We are working on the possibility to make the rear diffuser in Carbon Fiber...We are going big this time, so this is a must.
  12. Thanks for the great comments, guys! We can't wait to show you more products we are working on.
  13. No, we are using the rear side markers (located on the sides of the rear bumper), but we'll be using the clear lenses version with orange bulbs. I remember you posted something about your trip to Peru a few years ago...I hope you liked it. Let us know if you come again. The red option for the calipers is on evaluation...We might be painting another color instead to avoid breaking the clean white and black color we have now. Sure, we will be obviously making a rear bumper for the 2+2 version, since is the most popular version in Europe and Australia...Actually, we will be working on it next week. BTW, the 2+2 rear bumper version is going to be shorter than the one on the 2+0 we posted...This will help the car look much shorter, which we think is a must.
  14. On a side note, I was worried about posting pics of my products and designs here, because of the people who likes making easy money out of my work, effort, time, investment, etc, etc...But I also know that most European people is very ethic and support the true developers who do their best to keep the Z alive. I'm hoping to have these products available in Europe, Australia and North America by the end of the year, if not sooner.
  15. Now, onto the rest of the pics...Hope you like the new look!! Things to do: - Make new spoiler. - Make new rear diffuser. - Make new custom center caps for the wheels to replace the dated OZ ones. - Install side markers and turn signals. - Install SZ mufflers, downpipes and custom 3" test pipes and X-pipe. - Install UR pulley. - Install gauge rings. - Paint calipers in red. - Etc, etc...
  16. After 3 months since the paint project started, we finally have the "almost finished Z" back home...As you will see, the Z needs spoiler (we're making a new design), side markers and turn signals to be finished on the outside, but we couldn't wait any longer because there were lots of emails asking about the Z and new body kit, besides we both were impatient to show the finished products too...We can finally say that we have the look we've been looking to have on our Z all these years...Well, wide rear arches, rear diffuser and some nice 18" wheels are still on the plans to be completely satisfied with the looks someday, but this is pretty good for a while at least. Here's our new Z :) One of the main changes we did to the Z was modifying our front bumper...We lose the protudes that were on the side vents, also reduced the height and width of the mouth and integrated the rear side markers to work as turn signals, so we could keep the lines of the bumper, follow the standard that most sport cars use as turn signals nowadays and use a Z32 part to do the job...This turn signals are not installed yet, since we still need to get the clear lenses and use an orange bulb to work as a real turn signal...The bumper looks so much better now! Now I think it is much more camera friendly than before and it's also more proportioned to the car (some people will still don't like the big mouth look, but it's the new trend on sport cars so live with it :))...We wish we could have done this before, but it was impossible to do more changes by the time we were selling the front bumpers in the US. Our main purpose to paint the whole car was because we already had the rear bumper finished and with that, 2 of our most important body parts finished to give the updated look we were looking for, so it was time to have the Z looking brand new to compliment this new look...This is the final design of our rear bumper without diffuser...This rear bumper gives such a muscular and imponent look to the Z that you have to see it in person to believe it (pics don't do it justice!) We have always loved the Z32's front look, but we've always thought that the rear didn't give the looks of power and presence that the Z32 has and most of the aftermarket options that try to fix that, look too aftermarket and sometimes out of place. We also made some custom intercooler ducts to keep the air right on the Z1 SMIC's...We also made custom brackets to pull the intercoolers a little outer so they can be seen and look nice on the big mouth. Lastly, we bought Kaminari side skirts to compliment the look of the new front and rear...Most of the side skirts we've seen on Z's don't get to completely hide the line of the lower part of the car, so we had to modify them to have a perfect factory look and fitment.
  17. I hate everytime I remember that Luke is making easy money out of my work, time and all the investment I made to develop my fascia design...I just hope that noone bought his copies. Does anyone know if people ended up buying zcentre's copies of my front fascia? I'm still making new products for the Z and that includes the rear bumper and diffuser, but this time I will take my products to UK whatever it takes...I won't let Luke copy my work again.
  18. Looks like I'm going to finally start modifying my concept rear bumper in a few days, since my new Suzuki Grand Vitara just arrived to the port! That's going to be a nice DD and I'll be able to work on the Z without losing transportation. Can't wait to start with the diffuser version! :D
  19. What saddens me more is that it was a TT :( Hope the engine can be saved tho.
  20. We sold all the bumpers in the US and now we're starting production again, since there are a lot of interested guys that couldn't bought it and are asking for it...That's one of the reasons for us to start production again and take the chance to try to make some sales in UK and Europe this time. I don't remember you wanting a box of 10 fascias. Check your email (I sent a mail to your hotmail.co.uk account, but I'm not sure if you are still using it)...Get back to me as soon as you can.
  21. Damn...Sad to see that. I've seen worse than that getting fixed...Good luck!
  22. I'm lost here...What happened to your old Z??
  23. This time I'm gonna do whatever I can to get my products in Europe, specially since I'm making more stuff that I know Z32 owner will like a lot. BTW, sorry for the long post!
  24. Here's a pic of my fascia, just to refresh some memories: PICS OF MY Z: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=71800
