i wonder if its the throttle bodies on mine that need cleaning then but mine plays up when its been running for a while and its warm. the revs go right down for a second and it trys to cut out when you switch from drive to reverse and vice versa.

can any of you guys point me in the right direction for some rear discs and pads on a 92 n/a. only really looking for a cheap set of standard ones and im in the essex area if that helps. would appreciate any help you can give me. thanx, wayne.......

cant beat the sound of a lc with a set of allspeeds or microns and that gorgeous two stroke smell. real petrol head stuff. lol.

ive a soft spot for the ole lc"s .i had a 350 lc with allspeeds a couple of years ago. very quick bikes in their day. when you say you always fancied a kr1 do you mean the 250 kawasaki or did you mean r1. my mate had a kr1 back in 1990 when new and i had a suzuki rgv. mine was slightly quicker than the kr1 but his kr1 sounded awesome. they were the first of a new breed of 2 stroke sports bike and at that time out paced a lot of 600 cc bikes. 600"s nowadays though like r6 and gsxr are mega quick and far more scary and out pace almost all cars. mmmmmmmmmmm.

the r6 is a superb bike and will eat almost all cars out there for not a lot of money,but can be very twitchy as mentioned above and maybe not the ideal first powerful sports bike but hey, it will only do what YOU want it to do so if you can ride sensibly on it until you have a bit of experience then go for it. its an awesome machine. congrats on your test bud.

probably the air show in shoreham ,sussex. a pilot was killed in a hurricane there yesterday but the show still went ahead today as planned.

i believe the talent he had driving them imprezzas made the cars as popular as they are. a true legend sadly missed. RIP to all involved.

as everyone has said bud. the best kit you can afford. boots, leathers,jacket with good back and elbow protection .arai lids are the best quality lid in my opinion. as for the R6, well my fav bike to be honest along with the sp2 which i also have but like for different reasons as a totally different riding experience. ive had r1"s, gsxr"S but always prefer the r6 for throwing it around grin factor. it has more than enough power really. as for a first bike , well im not sure although a bike will only do what you want it to do but if you dont trust yourself to NOT use its power until you have some experience then it will catch you out and scare the shite outta you. dont know about new tests as i done mine years ago but do they not put a horsepower limit on new riders or is that under a certain age...... anyway, GOOD LUCK BUD and happy biking..
