I don't know what Nissan say on a manual UK car i've seen 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 6.0, But a magazine or nissan test will be better than what you or me can get coz if the gearbox goes it don't matter. i once read Autocar when they test'ed an M5 and the clutch went doing the 0-60 test.

When i got mine (march) it had 112K now has 118K. it was a company car new and did 80K in 1st 2 year's. So the man i got it from had it 10 year's and only did 32k and never changed the cam belt, so i didn't drive the car untill i had it done. Could only look at it for 3 weeks

In a book i've got "Nissan 300ZX the enthusiast's companion" it say's Nissan test'ed all european car's for a 155MPH limit. Quote "Each car is run to and held at it's maximum speed; though the Turbo is in theory limited to 250km/hr (155mph) they do not seem to be too concerned about the occasional example that attains 165..."

it's not like the Honda systerm from what i understand, i think it's only on the ex cam. a few car's have this kind of set up (with differant name) BMW 6cyl 24v 91-on, Lotus Elan 89-94, it's more for good fuel than power like in the honda.
