  3. Touchy touchy, did i say you skimped on your car? I know what your saying but what if the Z Centre was selling that bumper would that make a difference? No offence bud but how do you know i hav'nt seen the bumper(s), or bought the bumper? Maybe i know something you dont :D
  4. What you his spokesman now then? I dont think he e mailed him! I have my reasons to believe that too :D No it dont beg a question why, have you spoke to the guy?
  5. Where did you get that from? Its not what i was told
  6. tight arse lol Depends how good you want your car to look, what price do you put on making your car look good and the way you want it?
  7. cant remember will try it in the morning lol
  8. If it takes a few turns to start it could be compression or lack of it, especially if you have a weak head gasket which would explain the white smoke, which would indicate water, do a compression test. But you will get some white smoke when you first start the car anyway as this is just condensation, but burns off once warmed up if the engine is sound
  9. Yeah i've seen these bumpers before, Its not a TwinZ bumper but very similar, i've been considering getting 1 as i cant get a TwinZ and it looks as good as to me.
  10. 50mph is the max speed on the space saver i believe, and dont think your allowed on the motorways with them, but im not 100% about that. Although i did drive all the way to Bournemouth from Essex and back on 1 once took forever and it was bald as a coot time i got back :nono: :smash:
  11. yep works for me i like it
  12. i would have it if it had zed badges on then sell it as a zed look alike for a give away price
  13. Tighten the belts up bud :D Aux fan should only come on if car needs it if the coolant temp gets too hot i think its around 103-5 degrees or if air con on sometimes come on if your in traffic when temp gets hot, as its name says its an auxilery fan and only comes on when needed, the TT has a 2 speed fan but the N/A has a 1 speed fan
  14. I bet they love you going round with the Hoover or the washing machine going this time of night lol
  15. for work, or gets home the latest? I do shift work and my earliest turn of duty is 04.30, so have to get up at 03.30 sometimes 03.00 but am home by 10 or 11 in the morning. My latest shift finishes at 02.20 so get home about 03.00 but dont start work untill about 6 in the evening. other shifts are at more reasonable times, but usually got the morning or afternoon at home. The railway has its good points i guess :D
  16. For a start it sounds as though a belt is loose, that would explain the high pitch squile. Im also inclined to go for the electric auxillery fan running constantly that would be the lower pitch mmmmmm noise as it sounds electric to me plus it is the only thing that can carry on running after the Engine is switched off, as already been said the plades are catching on something. To check, take off head light panel, this will expose air filter You cant see it in the pic, but behind the filter you will see a black plastic fan, thats the aux fan, depending on what air filter you have you might be able to get your hand down to spin the fan to hear if it is catching, if not remove the air filter by loosening the 2 large jubilee clips (yellow arrows) either side of the T piece (pic) but first you will need to disconect the MAF square with blue dot in pic, but be carefull not to lose retaining clip. If you feel the fan catching, thats your problem, if not unplug the fan (grey connector down right hand side, i think) as it could be the motor. Replace air filter and connect MAF and start the engine if no noise when the fan isnt spinning your fan is fooked and its that what you can hear running all the time, which it shouldnt. Which means it could be the ECU temp sender is causing it and may need a good clean (pic below) or it may be the aux fan relay is stuck (relay taken out in pic) you can change fan felay over with head light relay to test it but you will need fan reconnected to see if it dont come on when engine running. Good luck wayne :D
